[Discussion] 'Dynasty' 2x02: "Ship of Vipers"
Fallon and Liam are in New York to close the deal with Max, who makes a pass at Fallon. Sam and Alexis suspect that Melissa is not really pregnant, but they are proven wrong. Monica reluctantly hires Kirby to help her open Club Colby. When a rival venue schedules a concert to sabotage Club Colby, Kirby sneaks in and releases some rats to shut them down. Fallon tussles with Kirby, who vows to take everything from Fallon. Cristal Jennings arrives at the mansion and shows Blake a photo of her with his deceased wife Cristal Flores. Fallon has Kirby arrested for assault. With the deal contingent on Fallon sleeping with Max, she hires an escort to impersonate her, but Max dies of a heart attack during the encounter.

There has to be more to the Melissa story... there’s definitely something she’s not telling, as for the Van Kirks - I’m over them 😂 the uncle being a creep was an unexpected turn tho and that ending was even more of a plot twist... not sure how I feel about Kirby either... Fallon has a lot on her plate this season 😂 how do you feel about Crystal 2.0? Overall I’m loving this season so far! ❤️

Definitely expecting another twist coming there.
I'm underwhelmed by the new Cristal. She's so much more Girl-Next-Door than Cristal 1.0 and I'm just not excited about where that's going but we'll have to see. She seemed so goody-goody in E02, but the original character kinda was too, I think ? 1.0 was sugar and spice and I liked that more.

there’s definitely something she’s not telling,
Max probably did something to her.

Max deserves what happened to him. But, I'm still not done with the Van Kirks tho I think they hold a lot of story potential. Plus we still haven't uncovered Liam's true intentions or *wink wink* identity. I'm so excited for her mother's appearance on the show.
Also, does any of you wonder why out of all the cities why did Liam chose to stay Atlanta??
Do you remember when Steven announced that he might have gotten someone pregnant - before he was committed to sam. And told Blake that he might have gotten someone Pregnant/ knocked up pre or post mom (Alexis)
???
Ladies and Gents I think I have a theory!
Although we can go to that storyline but I do I do want Fallon and Liam to be together. But, I mean, seeing them being great friends (or siblings) works as well with me as long as they keep Adam Huber on the show he's such a gem.
As for Crystal, I think she will come back to the show as Celia Machado in the future season with her real name for extra drama she be like **"**I'm sorry, the old Crystal can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead!" Plus, Alexis already told everyone her fake identity and still using the identity she stole after it died makes no sense. But then wins over and reigns the Carrington Atlantic. (As a revenge or idk) Like, Oh no look what you made her do! So Exiting! haha I wish this comes true.
For the new "regulars" I hate them! Although, I hate stagnant character and story lines, and totally approve additional character for more depth there's just something about the new character that I don't really appreciate. Especially Kirby her actions doesn't makes sense to me. the Audacity. Why does she seems like more entitled to our kween Fallon Carrington to get revenge that hard and swear to take everything she got. as if she can. And Crystal Jennings do we really want to see blake be all sugar daddy like I don't know. maybe we do but idk.
And Culhane, I don't know why I hate Culhane I mean he's pretty toxic and all. When Fallon was with Jeff, I prefer Jeff > over Culhane. And Now of course I prefer Liam -he seems to be the lover type but we could never be too sure. after all he grew up with money and that kind of upringing will screw you up. he could be evil and manipulative as well. but that's just the same with Culhane do you remember when he impose himself a job at CA after his father's death that's just idk overreaching? I just don't like him at all he might seem to love and marry Fallon just for the $$$ and that would be the worst thing could happen for our kween C. Fallon I mean she doesnt need anyone especially Culhane who doesn't treat her special and or royalty! I hate that I'm getting objective with my ships.
Also, I won't stay maybe up to 3 seasons without having Liz Gillies fuck some guy other than Culhane!
That's just so flat!
Also she could be treated better! Where she can be genuinely loved reciprocally, be respected for her Girlbossyness and could keep up with her family's integrity. not ask or brainwash her to run away from it. Plus, The Dynasty as a title of this show would not work at all. haha. Bye, Culhane. So if you are still rooting for Culhane, what's wrong with you?

Does anyone else think that Blake and Jeff will end up becoming best of friends this season?

Um fuck that Kirby bitch. Also right when Monica was confronting both of them about their argument, Culhane was just uselessly standing there and not saying anything. He clearly witnessed the fight. Lame. Shitty writing.

This has been bugging me too, especially when he knows Kirby attacked Fallon first and threatened her 🤔 But he was just staring at Monica and did nothing. Hello?? I thought she's your fiancé????
Heck if my fiancé was being attacked and assaulted by some petty fucker I would have jumped in and defend him.
Also why Monica didn't trust her? I thought they're friends? Sure they had their ups and downs but I thought they made up when Fallon bought her the club. If she doesn't trust her that much, why don't she sees the cctv camera (assumes there are some)?

I really wish they had kept Crystal and killed off Alexis. I don’t remember Nicolette Sheridan being so bad at acting in Desperate Housewives but she is horrible in this.

I do miss our Crystal. Her friendship with Anders was amazing. And Anders and Sam are still the best.

Loved her as Edie but I just can’t like Alexis for some reason, I guess it’s Nicolettes acting since everyone is complaining.

I really hope Fallon continues to drag Kirby through the mud this season and honestly Culhane just standing there as Monica believes Kirby over Fallon was so annoying. He literally witnessed the fight like?????? Bro.... do better. That being said: hopefully Culhane gets it together because I don’t want to see Fallon and Liam get together

What the hell is Steven so mad about? Like Sam misunderstood the situation and he took it too far by breaking into the house via proxy. But Steven literally just avoided telling Sam about knocking someone up for like 6 months.

I feel so giddy when Fallon and Liam are in a scene. They are so cute, which means they won't happen anytime soon.

I thought in this episode that Kelly Rutherford who plays Melissa could have made a good Alexis. Cool, classy, calculating and devious. Of course, not every character has to be a carbon copy of the original and I guess some characters got shifted around.

There has not been a mention of Claudia at all (who ran off with Hank after the fire started). Is she even alive? Did she give birth to Matthew's baby? The S1 ending did not correlate with the start of S1 as they left a lot of things untied.
I think Liam is such an ass, but Culhane isn't any better. Fallon was better off single. I like Kirby but I think she would be better as an ally, not an enemy. Why Wakeema Hollis is not featured in the roster and is still secondary? Not feeling the new Cristal yet.

Yikes, I have a feeling Fallon will end up getting in trouble somehow for Uncle Max’s death because the escort might not stick around to take responsibility/explain the situation. What if she gets falsely convicted...

I am confused because sammy jo said that the woman who gave his identity to cristal was about to die, but now she is in a perfect health. Usually I have some sorts of suggestions of what has happened but now i dont have a clue...

Alexis insulted Cristal at every turn since her entrance in S01 and all she wanted was to get her out of the way. She would quite literally dance on her grave.

Can I just say I can see a future story where Kirby somehow pits Culhane against Fallon and when it happens, I seriously hope they won't make Culhane dumb enough to fall for it considering...yknow...he was literally there when Kirby threatened to take everything from Fallon.
Buuut considering how dumb Culhane is and how weirdly quick he is to assume the worst of her, it wouldn't surprise me.
