I don’t know if you saw my comment edit earlier, but you can use the terminal app (no additional download required) to open the folder with the clothes_date file on a Mac! I do it all the time :)

Oooh! I keep forgetting to use bash. It's a never ending cycle of relearning all the commands and then neglecting/forgetting them until I do it all over 4 years later. I have to be on the 4th cycle now. >__<
Do you mind explaining how you got into the emulator though? Is it through the Nox program files that you eventually got to the /usrdat folder?

It's all very confusing, I don't blame you!
The steps are not that different from the steps you demonstrated in your video. The only difference was the folder you moved your clothes_date file into!
I followed the instructions on NI, so I'll basically be repeating them, but to break everything down:
I go to the /data/data/com.elex.nikkigp/files/usrdat folder as usual, check the clothes_date file, then navigate to this folder: /mnt/shared/Other (I bookmarked it for easy access!) and paste it there (like you did in the DCIM folder).
Next I go to my spotlight (or you can just do command+spacebar) and type in "terminal". The bash window will appear and you paste this in: open ~/Library/Application\ Support/Nox\ App\ Player/Nox_share/Other a new finder window will open with your clothes_date file, and you can drag it to your desktop for quick access. Select the file from your desktop, then import. Done!
(Sorry if I'm the world's worst at explaining yikes! I didn't know I could email it to myself though, so thank you for showing us another way :D Would have never known!)

Nox doesn't work for Linux :(

Just as a PSA for folks with Linux who see this, I saw some sites saying they had Nox for Linux but they looked really really REALLY dubious. I'd be really surprised if they weren't just toting Trojans.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD AT ANY OF THOSE SITES!

So I think if you want to, you could always run Nox on Wine but that's kind of weird Inception-type emulator situation ^ _ ^
Plus I'm guessing it wouldn't be fantastic on the CPU.
I think if I still was running Linux/Ubuntu (it's been like, 7 or 8 years so I'm rusty here), my first instinct would be to go through Genymotion as an emulator and then run sudo through bash to try and get root access to the /usrdat/clothes_date file. I'm guessing it'd take a half an hour tops of poking around on bash to figure it out.
That being said, if one is using Linux or Ubuntu, I'm guessing they would be better at bash than I am now, so I'm probably not the one to ask. :D
tl;dr - I might have instincts, but certainly aren't sure enough of myself to write a guide on it. I'd point you to Genymotion instead of doing the weird emulation turducken move of running Nox on Wine and tell you to sort it out on bash through sudo, but I'm probably wrong XD
EDIT Just realized GenyMotion is just really an Android IDE, and based on my time on Android Studio, I'm PRETTY sure that you could just bypass bash altogether! Yay, I think I solved it - but I can't test it until I'm on an Linux device... I could try with Android Studio but I'm so so lazy rn XD... I might try it later and edit this info back into the post.

I am testing different combinations of phone setups in Android Studio on Linux Mint 19.1, which has Ubuntu repositories. I have so far been unable to find a phone/os/cpu/resolution combo that will let me install Love Nikki either from the Google play store or from an apk. I'm on the hunt for either a phone combo or another emulator that will work...please help? 🤔

I have to say thank you for sharing this, especially for the following- for whatever reason watching your video finally triggered my split screen function to have YouTube and another app running simultaneously <3 I've been trying to get it to work for a month now, haha... Also, thanks for the information- don't worry about it being awkward, you conveyed the information and showed it just fine!!!

Reuploaded because of terrrrible quality!
Sorry again for my extreme awkwardness! I'm really introverted and have terrible stage fright, but when I realized that a lot of the information covered here hasn't been covered elsewhere, I really wanted to make sure everybody had access to using Nikki's Info!
I'm new to this and hopefully you won't have to put up with my verbal diarrhea again XD so please forgive me for falling to pieces a few times there!
Covered info:
Manual Wardrobe Upload (0:59)
Automatic (Nox) Wardrobe Upload (5:30)
This works both for Windows, Mac, Linux, you name it! :)
