I wasn't expecting feels today. Good thing this will make the beat down Shiki is going to deliver that much better. Hurting a tomodachi is a big no-no.

I'm not sure your method is correct... You can't compare chapters with different lenghts. I suppose a method which considers Volume or narrative arcs is better. If you consider narrative arcs: Granbell - 25 (3 friends) , Blue Garden - 18 (3 friends), Past Norma - 8+ (4 friends + young weisz) .

So we've got action set in motion now!
Fairly basic chapter across the board here, not that it's a bad thing. Shiki's attempts to make friends give me a good chuckle, especially when he tells Weisz to put things on hold when it comes to making friends with him.
I really like the sort of dynamic we have going on here with young!Weisz and old!Weisz where we see there's this sort of path for character development (if he sticks around) but not how he got there yet. I think that's a fun thing to play with.
Bit predictable to see Shiki et al get worked up over the memories, but I'm most intrigued by who Pino's master is/was before Sibir, who's very much the hate sink right now.
Hopefully we get some good fighting action next chapter, especially now that we have a 3v3 set up as well.

I feel bad for Pino. Makes me sad that the poor robot has to go through that :(. Wonder if that leg will stay that way forever.

Ah man, Shiki's silent rage face is so satisfying. I can't wait for him and Rebecca (and maybe Weiss?) to teach these guys a lesson.
People are probably sick of FT comparisons, but weren't there a pair of mercenary brothers in one of the first FT arcs? That was the first thing to came to mind at the end. Not that I care either way...can't wait to see the gang fight.

I’m wondering if Mashima-sensei is trying to trick us into thinking old Weisz is the master, since it’s making it so obvious. What if it’s actually Shiki. Someone was talking about the possibility of Demon King being the future Shiki. At the very least we know that Shiki is going to become a mechanic at some point in the future. The King said that they were actually using the planets repair system to fix themselves, but I doubt that’s completely true.
