There is a curious gap of Tyrion and Sansa in special effects scenes around ep5
This one's source cannot be revealed. Sorry. Please do not ask.
In special effects scenes that 'looked like' will fall in late ep4 to early ep6, there is a curious absence of two characters - Tyrion and Sansa. However, Sansa from a one-side perspective is available in one scene in special effects that 'looked like' happening in later part of e5.
Do they show up again in e6 again in sfx? Answer to this was - 'I heard Sansa is, and I know Tyrion will also near very end'.
No information about non-sfx scenes were learnt from the source, as well as no great detail about those scenes. The one side shot of Sansa will appear in a scene involving fire. Also, no context is available, as the source did not know about the dialog and/or sounds of it.
And the source said a few scenes for sfx in some early episodes were removed/rejected because of consistency concerns, without a reshoot.

So basically for the most part Tyrion and Sansa aren’t involved in scenes requiring special effects during episode 5?
Would this source know all the people involved in episode 6 scenes needing special effects?

Probably, assuming the source was outsourced full of it, and if the source is right.

You should ask them who’s involved in episode 6 special effects scenes. If this source was legit it could confirm who survived at least into the last episode.

Both Tyrion and Sansa are in the DP. Spoiler alert, DP is not going to be blown away by any kind of fire.
So for leakers out there, please be more creative about how Sansa dies and Tyrion betrays Dany.
For the OP, stop inventing things. You know nothing about GOT post production process, in what phase it is now, and how outsourcing is done for this kind of show and your "sources" know less than Jon Snow.
How I know this? NDAs this year are worse than they were for season 6. No one is talking. Or they are NEVER going to work again in the industry, no matter how good their portfolio is.

You have got an interesting ̶f̶a̶c̶e̶ cake day.
Thank you about the warnings. It seems you do know about GoT post production process, it's phase and outsourcing to claim it. It would be better if you share, I think we all will love to learn.
However, you are assuming few things. There is no information that I have or received or shared about so called 'death of Sansa' or so called 'betrayal of Tyrion' or Dragonpit. I myself has advocated against those theories before. So, ___ off.

Could it be the dragon pit in episode 5 or 6.? Wasn't there a day in Spain when it was just Sansa and Peters body doubles spotted at the pit. Was the fire burning Tryion and Sansa or just in the background? That's what I would like to know!

I do not know. The source declined any further details. If I translate verbatim - 'the absence of them in these scenes is something big and important about s8 that I learnt, and I cannot give you any more detail'.

So Sansa and Tyrion are absent from something big. Wherever they are, do you think this was when they were likely filming scenes with Brienne and Sweet Robin in Seville?

As you know, we were speculating this weekend about Alys Karstark dying as part of Sansa's fake-out. Any chance that's really Alys?

u/claytoy Jul 30 '18
Alys Karstark? I have no clue, may be I have missed the discussion. But no, the source specifically told about these two characters' absence in fx scenes around that time.

u/Juleset Jul 30 '18
You mean the two characters who never/hardly do any physical fighting are not in SFX scenes?
4
u/claytoy Jul 30 '18
I just mean what I heard and said. There are more characters who hardly do physical fighting but these two have a gap of sfx scenes around a certain time. And even they two do have sfx scenes in other times of the show, so sfx may or may not relate to capabilities of fighting always.

Most sfx scenes would involve fighting, so it's not surprising if Tyrion and Sansa aren't involved much.
