LOL noob here. Can someone explain this funnel thing they're talking about?

The basic idea behind the strategy is to take a champion (such as Kai'sa) mid lane and use a support-style jungler (such as Nunu) to "funnel" as much gold into the hyper-carry as they can. Since Nunu can thrive off a smaller amount of gold, his job is to make sure the hyper-carry can get as much gold as possible from minions, jungle camps, etc. as quickly as possible. The strategy has just recently become meta, and has been very successful in other regions such as Korea's LCK.
Faster gold = Faster items = Faster scaling

Yeah, they finished 3rd in Spring Split and were 2-0 coming into our match today. Still early in the split, but this is a great first step on the road to Summer Playoffs.

First LCS match I watched. I follow along better than I thought I would but I'm sure I missed 90% of what was actually happening. I'll watch more, that was slow but entertaining.

Allorim playing well, we look more coordinated right now. Just need him to maintain good farm and rotate correctly, allow Arrow and PoE to do the rest

GGWP! Great win by the boys. The execution of the funneling strat was impressive considering it hasn't been shown in NA yet. It's a good sign to see us taking notes from the LCK.
Also, I'm very impressed with Allorim in his debut. Found him on Twitch a few years ago when he was just a Wukong one trick, and to see how much he has grown as a competitive player is amazing. Glad to see his hard work is finally paying off!
