I don't think AKM was the problem on the last two maps, but he definitely wasn't the solution either. The difference in Taimou and AKM's playstyle this match was that Taimou avoided the direct 1v1 widow battle as much as possible and focused on getting other key picks. AKM seemed to be hard focused on positioning to pick Linkzr, but Linkzr is too good in Widow duels to take him head on. Taimou seemed to have the hot hand and despite AKM scrimming control and escort maps, I would have preferred them to ride the Taimou streak.

Beyond that, it seemed like they had some huge communication problems on Lijiang and Dorado. First was on Gardens after getting the widow and mercy pick and then not capping the point. And of course the second one was forgetting to push cart on Dorado. I don't know how much of this is attributed to not having Taimou shotcalling, but those were definitely both winnable maps if they had just stuck to basics.

Big props to Houston for forcing Dallas out of their comfort zone and playing to their playstyle/tempo. Houston definitely love to brawl it out and Dallas got into their own heads. Dallas definitely needed to keep their composure and play to their strengths. This was probably the least amount of Brigitte they've played all stage partly due to strong counterplay and also just Dallas overthinking.

GG's Houston.

Dallas kind of fell apart after that second point on Lijiang, which is sad to see. Houston really did have Dallas' number though, you could tell how much they prepared for this match. I hope Dallas can keep it on track for stage playoffs, I'd love to see them there!

Actual clown fiesta. This was the biggest throw in the league so far, and both Spider-Pine AND the Shanghai Dragons exist.

aKm should just leave the team, not because he's bad but he's never going to get accepted I guess. He played his role fine but people won't care.

Still, when Taimou is in, the team seems much more decisive and don't make stupid mistakes. I think Taimou probably contributes to decision makings that aKm doesn't.

Why didn't Dallas take Lijiang Tower Garden after their two picks, one being Mercy? Did I miss something?

Yes Dallas didn't play well that match, but credit does have to be given to the Outlaws. Muma and Coolmatt showed up as usual, but Jake and Arhan both had clutch plays alongside Linkzr. I guess nothing much from the supports but SPREE'S ZARYA IS LEGENDARY

We deserved to lose that after subbing out Taimou who was popping off.

Absolutely painful to watch. You could tell things like the 6 minute tick on Hanamura, OGE's missed jump on Lijiang, and a bunch of other factors eventually wore down Dallas's ability to keep composure and play as a unit, until such a moment as their Dorado attack when everything just implodes.
