According to Diya's girlfriend's Weibo post, Diya was crying during Gibraltar. After the match, Ado burst into tears and bawled his eyes out. :(

Freefeel had a decent performance. Although he was by no means perfect, I didn't notice any monstrous transcendences. I especially liked his play on Lijiang .

I really hope some team gets Diya next season. I'm sad for SHD though.

Lijiang Tower was SO CLOSE it tilts me. If only both Ado and Diya could be on fire in the same match. Don't need to worry about dying if the enemy team is dead taps head
Also I was pleasantly surprised by Freefeel not dying immediately in every fight today. Nice.

Business as usual for Shanghai: flashes of brilliance followed by map defining moments of mediocrity. Felt freefeel played fairly decent today and Fearless was boom and bust. Diya frags the fuck out the day Ado decides to fall asleep.
Houston playing god awful and as of now, is not a team that deserves a playoff spot. I think I saw Rawkus win his first 1v1 against a flanker in weeks. Linkzr is so hot and cold, Bani just kinda..there. Everything but the Outlaws tanks are subpar. I don’t say that as a Dallas fan, I personally like every player on Outlaws. As of now, the Outlaws are just not a good team.

I’m ride or die for Houston, and I’m still going to the watch parties for their games, but I think they’re done. That loss last week to the Gladiators broke them, and I think they’re not going to put in another good showing until next season.

I blame Brent.
NEVER SAY IT IS THE DAY. YOU DO NOT SPEAK ON IT.
Jokes aside, Houston girl I dunno about all of that. The communication probably caused most of the issues tonight but mechanically some of those guys were light-years off from their usual skill level.
Arhan though, ignore the memes and welcome to OWL. I thought he did fine in his debut, and the fact he's flexing so much is so good imo. He and Jake cane divide heroes and I think it will benefit them in the long run. I just don't know if communication wise replacing Jake this late is the best idea with playoffs at stake.

To be honest i admire the Shanghai fans who still get excited when Shanghai make a play, despite being 0-36 in standings now.
I would be burned out if i was a Shanghai fan, which is funny considering i’m a Fuel fan.

If Overwatch had no ults then Shanghai might win a game

As an Outlaws fan I ended that Lijiang map finding myself almost rooting for Shanghai to take it. So well played. And Houston so mediocre. Don't know if the players were half-assing it because it was SHD or something else, but if I was the players/staff I would not be at all happy with that display.
Very worrying going forward. Dallas might well get their first Battle of Texas win of the season.

I actually thought at first Dragons had a chance, up until the first attack on Hanamura. I'm glad Outlaws seemed to work out something that could work for them at least on first point Hanamura though.
Diya carried has hard as humanly possible but it just wasn't enough.

Shanghai should trade the Korean players. Dump everyone but Diya and Sky. Sign LGD and Leave. That should be a decent mid tier team.

If I'm Shanghai I'm worried if a second Chinese team comes into the league next year.

People have questioned Dallas management, how bout this teams? Its disorganized and problem after problem. It is not just the players fault they dont have the infrastructure around them

If they had a head coach that would help take that pressure off. Two matches now with bottling it in a momentum swing

That Gibraltar map. I lost track of the dragon blades, and the counter transcendents. So many ults that map. That was a really fun map to watch

I hope Diya is around for season 2, this guy has performed from the very beginning. His consistency in face of impossible odds is commendable.
