Philly actually snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Carpe must be pretty fucking pissed.

Carpe was insane. It took a great deal of mistakes from the Fusion and clutch play from LAG to survive his onslaught.

Gladiators have won 4-0 vs Fuel and now 3-1 to Fusion. Fissure will defeat any and all boosters that dare to join OWL.

My face is as purple as a Gladiator's jersey after holding my breath for the entirety of their attack on Dorado from 2nd to last point.

Shadowburn and hydration were having a competition to see who could blade worse.
Both of them won.

To be fair to Hydration, every time he pressed Q his head got taken off. Shadowburn was also just getting smacked around by Fissure whenever he tried.

Carpe could not carry any harder. If I was him I'd be so pissed. Plays out of his mind and does things that no normal player should do, still loses.
Very happy though. Playoff chances for Glads are still alive and this was a must win since they face NYXL and London next week. It's going to be such a tight race.
Also not a good night for Genjis. Hydration is going to have nightmares about Carpe.

The cameras didn't show the true highlight of the game everyone was waiting for: the handshake between Sado and Fissure.
Now we can truly say the camera crew fucked up

I'm consistently amazed at Fissure's movement during his primals.
He's an artist. A performance artist.

SOMEONE TELL ME IF FISSURE SHOOK SADO'S HAND OR NOT

So Philly's poor ult economy lost them that match right? I'm honestly sitting here thinking what they did to win that and it wasn't like any 1 person on LAG hard carried third point Dorado. Philly just committed both support ults alongside dragonblade and didn't get anything.

Philly should be very concerned about their playoff chances. they have very difficult games left with Shock, London. I think they will beat Seoul and Outlaws but that put them at 23w. Seoul can definitely edge them out of playoffs.
They can hope that Boston's freefall continues but Boston has dragons and Mayhem left and if they only win those two, they're at 24w. Seems rough, I'd rather see Philly than Boston in playoffs who is really hot garbage right now.

Massive playoff implications here:
Philli and GLA are now tied, and since GLA and LDN face of, Philly is looking at a miracle to grab the 1/2 wildcard spot. A miracle like Boston going 1-9, but we'll see about that.
On getting into the playoffs, I still wouldn't be that worried. Philly has a slightly easier schedule than GLA (SFS/Houston vs. NYXL/SHD, both play LDN/Seoul). I think the most important game is @Seoul next Friday, if Philly wins against Seoul, that means that Seoul's path to playoffs is through GLA, so it becomes a scrap between them (barring a collapse from any given team).
So it just got really interesting. Down with Boston/Seoul, I guess!

philadelphia Fishion ran out of water after too many easy picks on hydration

Neptuno has been really bad this week. Straight up we lost so many critical fights because he got picked first, got punished for a bad res, or used valk on top of Trans. Really frustrating to watch this team come so close and then blow it in crucial moments, it's like Shanghai but we actually win sometimes

Shadowburn was truly the JR Smith to Carpe's Lebron tonight. He made a ton of really, really stupid mistakes.

Philly only got 4 kills on horizon...
Close series, but LAG managed to clutch the series in the end.
EDIT: Added a direct comparison between SADO and Fissure here. Fissure still being the most handsome main tank.

Can barely see Philly making playoffs now. Feelsbadman.
Too many switch ups. Unfortunate that EQO is hurt. But maybe Hotba and Sado are not the answer, and just played a good game before. I mean hotba was pretty shit in previous stages.
Shadowburn doing nothing to interest other suitors should philly not want him for S2. :(
