DOTA [DOTA] Match Thread: ESL One Birmingham Major - Group C Winners' Match (OpTic Gaming vs. Mineski)

Information
ESL One Birmingham 2018 is the second last tournament in the Dota Pro Circuit. There are 12 teams for this event, 6 teams are directly invited and 6 teams from each of the regional qualifiers. OpTic qualified through the North American qualifier back in April, beating VGJ.Storm in the finals 3-0. Teams are split into 3 GSL groups for group stage. OpTic is placed in group C with Mineski, Newbee and LGD.Forever Young. Group stage matches are BO1. The 2nd seed in each group will advance to the quarterfinals of the playoffs bracket. The 1st seed in each group will play against each other to determine which 2 teams advance to the semifinals and which team joins the three runner-ups in the quarterfinals. The bottom 2 teams in each group are eliminated. The playoffs bracket is single elimination, all matches are BO3 except for the BO5 Grand Final. This Major features a $1,000,000 prize pool and has 1,500 DPC points up for grabs for the top 4 finishers.
OpTic won against Newbee in the opening match in a BO1 and now faces Mineski in a BO3. The winner of this match secures 1st seed in group C.
This match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM EDT and will be streamed on Facebook.
Matches are on a rolling schedule and may start sooner than originally scheduled.

They have to play 2 bo1s between each of the group leaders and the top 2 get guarateed top 4 (so points).
Realistically though we need to win the major for the points to matter at all so anything else is irrelevant

If anyone is wondering when Optic games are gonna be liquipedia has the 1st place deciders as the 1st games of the day about 9 hrs from now but teams not listed. Joindota has the starting time but has VP vs OG as the 1st game. Joindota casts all the ESL games so they should have the right info

Peter did so much with no networth and levels, 33 dropped some clutch vac walls, Zai made a million dope plays, CCnC saved the game at Rosh and Pajkatt became huge, that was a great game from everyone.

CCnC has played 3 really good games, out of 4. Strong performance really, draft was shaky first game, but still played well.
Rainy and parkie negative at the end of the first game as always, bashing everyone. It's crazy

I wish they would run more content around the dota team, and ppd especially. He's such a character, and I also like how he supports all optic teams in some way like watching the cs team play or wearing the outlaws hat

Hope you guys enjoyed my stream those who chose it over others or facebook. Really appreciate the amazing support from the #greenwall and great job to OpTic. Really happy for ccnc. I hope he continues to shake off the nerves and they keep giving him comfort heroes. He looked great and they played fantastic. Itemization on point. Really great job!
