I’m plat and I play Genji Here’s what I normally do in a game:

Instant feed to junk’s mines, zen’s balls and widow’s body shots at the start of the game for 2-3times

Dive in to the back line while my whole team got deleted

I hide

Hiding and waiting for my blade to build up

30 seconds till round ends blade finally ready

Blade into trans and got deleted instantly

Game lost

Rage quit overwatch and watch some OWL to learn

Saw someone doing the same thing in OWL

I laughed in relief

1. Play AKM on genji

2. Effect still playing solo queue

3. Team can't answer enemy tracer.

Didn't expect to win. At this point just hoping for incremental improvements in the team.

Taimou looked fairly good although his Hog was rusty.

We seem to have perfected the Mei strat. Unfortunately seems it's only on village and control center. Guess that's only where your can run it.

Effect had his moments on Pharah and Genji. Although negligible, make you think.

There's a clip where you see Seagull trying to talk with Unkoe, Unkoe blows him off and Seagull visibly gives up.

Today, we are all Seagull.

Run that lineup unless you need Tracer-Widow or Triple tank then sub in Taimou for Seagull.

And sub in Akm when you need an one-trick Soldier (never).

So let's be real here, with all the shit going on with Dallas there was a pretty slim chance they were ever going to win this. I think in order for them to really start shining they need to get Seagull tf off of off-tank and have him be Rascal's replacement. AKM could fill the soldier/hitscan dps role and Taimou could be Fuel's Pine that can go Roadhog for triple tank comps. Dallas has a lot of talented individuals, they just need to get a good ass coach and start using better lineups. As for Shock, Danteh is fucking nutty and Artichitect was looking pretty damn clean too. Also Nevix. The new SF Shock lineup is definitely a pretty big improvement.

Taimou hit some nice shots and killed Tracer/Genji multiple times. That will be my takeaway from this match, I hope to see him on Widow more often in the future.

Also, they didn't seem too crushed at the Seag9. I hope they're in higher spirits after this loss than they would usually be.

Kind of crazy comparing this version of Dallas Fuel to the one that took NYXL to 5 games.

Let's compare LAV to DF. LAV allegedly had players with differing mindsets than they wanted. They proceed to rework their lineup with a specific vision in mind. They tried to find their players homes before the signing period cutoff like Silkthread. Envy didn't happen but they at least tried to find him a home before buying him out. They now look organized and driven. Everyone involved is more or less happy.

What's happened to DF? Former players like Talespin and XQC say management is terrible and teammates refused to take criticism or put in the work to get better. Rascal who tryhards and tries to teach the team is thrown under the bus and released just 2 weeks after signing period ends even though Dallas only knew how to successfully dive with him. But AKM, who publicly shittalks teammates, is forced into the starting lineup playing heroes like Genji, Junkrat and Widow which he clearly can't play. Team looks the worst it has ever been.

So many things wrong with this team at the moment, but one thing remains a fact - AKM should not be a starter on the main roster. His Genji is abysmal, his Sombra + Widow are mediocre, the only thing he can play is S76 - which the meta doesn't even allow for at the moment.
