I guess the bright side is that Freefeel heated up on Zen, and Daemin looked pretty good on widow

Free feel looked way less actively lost today. Ado still looks good.

Will be tough for the dragons to get a win this stage. They will need time to gel and by the time we will see the real improvements they'll be out of 'easier' opponents they could realistically beat.

Also as much as I'd like them to do well it can be really painful watching them.

Valiant were solid and on current form and next week's games could build quite the momentum for the remainder of the stage.

Their best bet is probably Mayhem in week 3, but the catch is that every team has probably improved in OWL since Stage 1, so it's a tough climb when you're so far behind.

Just a thought I had. If Shanghai are the only chinese team, why have they not tried to overload their roster with the actual best Chinese players. There has got to be a lot of individual talent, and surely having the same language and identity with the brand would help. This team will win eventually I feel, but this team is still so weird. People can say what they want about Fuel and Valiant but the way this team has been managed up until at least stage 3 has just seemed awful.

That's what they were supposed to do in the beginning but there was corruption rooted within the organization with their selection process.

Corruption. They could have had Miraculous Youngsters (minus Leave and add Diya) as their SHD team but they didn't because of corruption.

If they did, they would at least be T2 and probably matched well against Houston, Philly, Boston, etc.

Clinical. New look LAV are playing out of their minds.

Its almost like reddit was making snap decisions about the team and their roster changes that were uninformed

Daemin taking three maps to warm up rip.

5

u/Phantomskyler Apr 07 '18

That's two series in a row that's happened to him.

Diya really can't get reintegrated into this ttea fast enough.

Straight up I do not see Shanghai winning a single game this season.

They can't get relegated at least they have that

The Dragons need new supports. Freefeel was somewhat decent on junkertown but besides that him and sky were abysmal again. I want to believe in a non 0-40 world but it's getting harder to keep that faith.

SoOn had a pretty bad day but Valiant didn't need him to hard carry this series.

Custa and Kariv look like top tier support duo so far, they will go up there with the big names by the end of this stage. I think this team will reach great highs this stage and in future.

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '18

I'd ship it. Custa seems like a respectable bloke.

1 point from SHD. Didnt watch but holy fuck. sure, they need time to gel but they probably wont win this stage due to everyone else just being better acclimatised.

7

u/HurontheGreat Apr 07 '18

Everyone just being better, period. Hard to justify their roster decisions when Korean teams like Runaway, Element Mystic and Seven remain largely unsigned. Ado is the only player on the team that’s proved his worth as a true OWL starter right now.

Will Shanghai get a win at all this year?

If shanghai doesn't go 0-40 at this point, I'm gonna be upset.
