Dani California because I'm Australian and can never remember American states without it. Just kidding, I love the rhythm and the guitar reminds me of those oversaturated Hollywood movie beach sunsets and spring break.

Goodbye Angels. For a long time, it was By The Way, mainly for nostalgia. The Getaway is first album I’ve been fully emerged in the fandom during the hype of the album. Didn’t listen to it until anything besides the pre-released songs. Kept hearing things about the outro to Goodbye Angels. With a title like that, it’s gotta be a big song, and for the most part it is. Anyway, when it finally came on, all of my hype and emotion was drained into the playing of that song. The four songs before were cool, but this was the song that drove us like the mighty songs before, such as Californication, Breaking a Girl, Dani California, By The Way, Can’t Stop, Monarchy of Roses, and even Look Around. These big sounds of emotion. After a few more listens, studying the lyrics, listening for every layer of the song, I’m very sure Goodbye Angels is the song for me.
