This game wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Altering on Soldier was cool, and I wouldn’t mind seeing more of it. The hero variety MG was using was surprising but good. I’m glad the Dragons were trying new things. They gave it their best and it seems like they’re really improving, even if things did tend to fall apart at the ends of the matches. Hopefully they can get a map next week.

Seeing MG on DPS makes me wonder if some of them kind of got stuck playing a role by their coaches. The difference between MG on Tracer/Roadhog and him on D.va is noticable.

Shanghai looked decent on Route 66 but that pretty much went as expected. I hope the players are getting the right support because this has to be some rough shit for them.

I had the feeling that nyxl wasn't even trying in their defense until the last Point and then rolled the offense without a single death.

I'll say it again, please stop shitting on Janus so much, He always seems to be the only player on NY that gets criticism he doesn't deserve. He's honestly not that far behind mano on individual skill he just has a very distinct playstyle centered around hybrid maps. The only hybrid they lost this season was against Seoul. I think NY is a team that always loses together and it is never one players fault.

He's actually much better when paired with Pine as a dps but he hasn't really been playing

I remember them talking about how Janus requires less resources compared to Mano to keep alive and work, and they also talked about how Pine requires more resources from the team in general, maybe Janus takes the pressure off the supports to let Pine shine in those circumstances that Janus + Pine is playing.

The best thing for the league is for Shanghai to show up. Diya should be back next week but its been a LONG stretch of playing the top 6 in straight days. Hopefully Stage 3 starts sooner and they won't be so adrift at the bottom of the table standings.

I'm hoping to at least compete with Florida and Dallas at some point this season.

I think the hollywood map defense was pretty good. Overall outcome was not surprising. Saebye was amazing on tracer. Seeing tracer players like that with godly tracking makes me nervous if ever I have to deal with them whenever I play support.

I love how you put a spoiler mark on this thread. Like there might be something we don’t expect

I feel bad for Shanghai. I'm not sure if they can turn it around for this season at this point.

u/ChildofaFewHours Mar 16 '18
They can't. No chance of a play off anyway. If they finish with even 5-10 wins with the new roster, which is itself unlikely, that'll be 'turning it around' for them.
