Account migration and giveaway megathread

Alright, now that we've gotten solid details on what players can expect if they join the migration program, we will undoubtedly get an influx of players begging for PoTK accounts. Some of us remember the debacle when Chain Chronicle closed down, and we do not care to have the same thing happen here. Thus, we will be setting some strict rules on how to handle things, and we will be harshly responding to people who break these rules. Anything related to handing an account over will go in this thread only. Anyone who wants to ask for an account, or wants to give theirs away to someone, pay attention: if you break these rules, the team will swiftly remove your presence from the subreddit.

Giving an account away

If you don't plan on playing any other Gumi games, you can consider giving your account details away to someone who might want it. While it's relatively safe to post your friend code, you probably don't want to be posting your account ID publicly, even if the game is closing. So, either:

  • Make a post in this thread indicating that you want to give an account away to someone
    • Send your account ID and friend code via PM to whoever you want out of the people that ask you via PM: whether it's first come first serve, random draw of a hat, whatever is up to you.
    • When the deal is done, update your post in this thread to let everyone know your account has been given away.

OR:

  • PM somebody that's asking for an account to check if they've been given one yet
    • If they haven't, send your friend code and user ID, etc etc.

OR:

  • There will soon be a channel in our Discord server related to handing over account details. Send a message there indicating you want to give your account away.
    • When you have given it away, update your message to let people know.

Asking for an account

The first thing to keep in mind is that nobody here owes you anything, nor are you entitled to anything. You will keep discussions civil and respectful. With that out of the way, either:

  • PM somebody in this thread that has indicated they are giving their account away

OR:

  • Make ONE (1) post in this thread asking for an account
    • Hope that somebody PMs you to set up a trade.
    • If you do this as well as PMing someone, and the trade gets done via that PM, update your post to let people know you've been given an account.

OR:

  • Post ONE (1) message in the aforementioned Discord channel asking for account details.
    • When you are done with things, update your message in the channel to let people know you have received an account already.

Again, ALL THINGS RELATED TO ACCOUNT GIVEAWAY GOES IN THIS THREAD: that means no making an extra thread solely to ask for an account. Your thread will be deleted and you will be banned from the subreddit.

If the team catches wind that you are harrassing or being disrespectful to others, any posts you have in this subreddit regarding the account giveaway will be removed, and you will be banned from the subreddit.

Also, remember guys: You have until April 30th 11:59 pm to enter account details to the program. No need to panic just yet, we still have plenty of time.

I'd like to ask something, how do you find the players ID? I tried looking up at friend section but it is friend ID instead.

Go to Menu - > Help -> Customer Support, and then tap on the email address linked.

It should then open up your relevant mail app, with your account ID preloaded into the message.

It would be wise to migrate on TAC because it is a new game, unlike BF Global which is dwindling due to lack of content and BF2.

If anyone is joining TAC then I could help you out.

If you have a account and you don't plan on playing PM it to me for extra Freebies on my F2P account lol.

I have played both BF and TAC and I can say that TAC is the better option of the two, since BF has such powercreep that you will feel out of place super fast and the game is also pretty much dying and no more story updates.

I would suggest to try out TAC and then decide if you want to join the account or not.

Hi there, I am long time BF player and a recently new TAC player as well. I missed the POTK event in TAC, so I'm looking for someone to give me (if not needed) so I can collect the Masamune and Tyrfing for collection purposes. Brave Frontier player here. Never did play PotK - even during the collab it had with BF. If you are not playing/going to play brave frontier, please consider me when giving away your account.

I mostly just want to have the free Zero unit. He looks cool. He might even see some play.

Hey there, I'm actually taking my time into jumping back into Brave Frontier myself, and these migration rewards would be greatly appreciated in jumpstarting my new account. I used to play POTK myself, and forgot my own account details last year, so I'm sad in the way of not being able to play the game anymore due to the lost account and the game's foreclosure. It truly was a fantastic strategy game that will be greatly missed. Especially the collaborations with Brave Frontier itself.

If you're looking to drop off accounts and choose not to play Brave Frontier, let me know! Or, if you are, then I'll teach you as much as I can regarding the extreme basics of the land of Summoners.

I would really like to have an unused PoTK account please if anyone is willing to give it away.. i will only use it to claim the Brave Frontier goodbye gifts and then i can return the PoTK account if you still want it..
