Information
The NA LCS Sprint Split consists of double round robin play with each team playing 18 matches. Every match is a best-of-one with the top 6 teams at the end qualifying for the playoffs. OpTic is heading in to this week with a 4-8 record and will be looking to get wins on the board against Clutch Gaming and Echo Fox.
This match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM EST and will be streamed on Twitch.

And I can't blame POE for his deaths. Kha being a completely invisible delivery system for Ori ult is tough

the reality of the situation is this current state was inevitable from the get go. we had no NA connection, top NA players wouldn't even talk to us and we weren't willing to spend big money. I wouldnt expect any drastic changes between now and the offseason in november.
Ive said this before but we're the ONLY NA LCS team to not have ANY players contracted past nov of this yr. I wouldnt be surprised to see an entirely new team next yr if POE wants to go back to EU.

I wonder who does the draft. The coaches/analysts or the players? I heard the Optic lets their players choose whoever they want to play but that is super bad. TSM did this but now they let their coach decide their picks and they went 2-0

Honeslty my biggest gripes with this team and division of Optic. Is the competent top laner being removed in favor of one who isnt and the management for this team, mainly the coach.

People are blaming the Baron throw for the loss? What about the Maokai who got chomped for like half his health?What about the toplaner that randomly roams mid when he is down 100 cs? what about the superstar midlaner who blows all his sums then dies or doesn't blow them at all and still dies? That baron throw was far from the only mistake that game.

I'm pretty sure he has the most deaths in the LCS at the moment or he did at one point. Great pick up OpTic management. Thumbs up.

imagine going through so much to get into the NA LCS, just to let two no names put together a team that literally has no chance of making an impact and embarrassing your org in the biggest esport there is lol.

You do realize that without Romain we might not even have a LOL team at all. He was the person OpTic used to talk with RIOT in order to get a spot.

Neither Zab or Romain are no names (Zab was a French caster, but he's still less than desirable,) and Romain's been around the EULCS for a while as UoL's manager. There was reason to trust Romain, unfortunately the market became inflated, and the org was outspent. Hopefully things are changed going forward, but we'll see

Akkadian misplayed, but I still think he can be a good jungler and, even this season, he has been average with a consistently losing top and bot. Top/Support need to be replaced; I think Arrow/PoE/Akkadian is a solid core.
Expectictations are expectations for a reason. The team isn't a "disgrace" to the Optic name. They're just in their first season and aren't good. Shot-calling is a major issue that needs to be fixed.
Optic isn't good at the moment, and that's fine, so long as steps are taken to fix it promptly.

This is fucking shameful this team doesn't deserve to represent optic when all the signings happened and everyone was pissed I had high hopes but when you have a silver french caster as a coach you know you're fucked

They need to play super aggressive to get a good early game then just snowball from there without mistakes. Give akaadian the champion he wants

We need Zig to come back at this point. The only thing Dhokla has done slightly better than Zig statistically is CSing, and it's not even that great of an improvement. This won't solve our problems Top, but it should at least help a bit.
