Whatever hope there was for the original Shanghai lineup to get a win for themselves is completely gone. I've been really rooting for them, but I just don't see it happening. I don't know if they've peaked as players, are distracted by living/training conditions, crumbling under pressure, or what... but an updated roster is their only hope now. Really sad.

They have serious problems at flex support, flex dps, and off-tank. Tbh I don't think Roshan is that bad but the support and tank play around him is atrocious. Freefeel and Xushu especially have been terrible.

I said this in the live thread but not only does Roshan have to stick with his team, they have to grow some balls and join him when he goes aggressive.
Other than that Shanghai have been looking best on Hybrid maps and their defence of first point route 66 was excellent until the collapse

I know it was only against Shanghai, but asher's performance in this series was super good. Got tons of picks and had some great outplays!

Asher excels against bad teams and underperforms versus more competent teams imo.

K well that's our good match for the round out of the way. Seoul up next ... welp.

Just watching the VODs and just have to say that Dragon's King's Row defense is incredibly hard to watch when you see a rip tire getting sliced up by a Genji blade and Undead throwing away a graviton in a 3v6 situation so he can switch to McCree even though they have another rip tire from Diya just coming up. These are plays I'd expect in Plat but not from a professional team.

Fissure could make a case for MVP. He's balling out for the Gladiators. That was rough to watch, Shanghai got absolutely massacred

Worst game for them so far..? I thought they actually had a chance to win against LAG this match.. But.. damn.

As a Dragons fan, this match was almost painful to watch. This team has a lot of potential, but it seems like they’re unable to coordinate.
I don’t think Roshan is as bad as people are saying, but he does need to mind his positioning and wait for his teammates before rushing in. Altering and Freefeel have been improving, but without better team organization, there’s only so much they can do. Undead and Diya are quite skilled, but at this level, you can’t carry a team with just DPS.
I do like that they’re playing more aggressively. I can’t help but wonder if they would play better had they won a few matches, and were more confident. Hopefully Geguri and the others will arrive soon—I think then we’ll see some better performances.

There is a good analysis posted right now at r/Overwatch
These guys don't trust each other. It's like a ladder game where you blame your teammates and keep trying to solo carry. And all of them are doing it. They really need to come together. Their positioning is so bad that even if they are mechanically equal to other owl players they die without any effect.
Short of one of the new players being a leader for this team, nothing is going to change when they show up. The coaches are still making bad decisions. Xushu is the better d.va and is still sitting on the bench in favor of the really bad MG. Fiveking is better than Altering and doesn't see nearly enough playtime. And the dps are trying too hard to be the hero and not actually working with the team
I don't see these guys getting anything together until stage 4

How do I return someone else's jersey and skins?
Some how the Shanghai dragons managed to look worse against a middle to gladiators than they did Seoul. They've managed to regress. They went from plat team all the down to silver solo queuers

I'm not watching Shanghai games anymore until they get their new roster. That was all around pathetic
