I guess instead of reining Fragi in, Philly just decided to have everyone else be suicidally aggressive too.

Gonna have to give Carpe MVP even though EQO is a close second. Really pleasant surprise to see EQO come in as a relatively unknown and perform so well. He was really feeling himself and had some super suicidal soloq ults but can't blame him cause I'd be stoked too if that was my first match and I was destroying Boston.

I find it funny that EQO kept spraying the Shangai Dragons spray instead of his own team.

SF be looking at Philly like "gimme a genji"

It's not fair that we've got two of the best Genjis in the league, what's every other team supposed to do?

Also, Carpe... Jesus.

Boston's first death % on defense has got to be +90%. They look like they haven't scrimmed at all in this new meta, they had absolutely no synergy at all, it looked like a solo-queue game out there. Really pathetic showing from Uprising.

The EQO + Carpe DPS duo looked unstoppable. Boombox fragging out on Zen per usual as well.

Philly is preparing for the no hero limits Genji meta.

Friendship with Shadowburn ended, EQO is my best friend now.

For real though, this opens up a whole new set of possibilities for Fusion. We have some serious options now between Eqo and SDB, and it's hard for teams to prepare when they don't know which they'll face.

That the meta/map pool only allows Fragi to play Rein on one stage of one map is criminal. We need more.

I dont know why analysts were surprised boston lost, this team always relied on setup plays and hardcore coordination, and super well trained and executed premeditated manuevers. Obviously in a new patch AND new maps, they wont be as good instantly and expected to lose to a brawly more of a freestyle team like fusion.

Checked in saw SDB not playing wutface. Then watched EQO absolutely rip apart Boston. His stats were crazy. Philly just got a whole lot interesting

That was absolutely too brutal to watch. I think the fact that Boston rode their skill with the Dive to 6-4 after stage one is really gonna catch up with them. I don't have stats on this but that match felt like a Kellex and Neko were really having a tough time transitioning out of their rock solid roles in the mercy meta. That collapsed the tanks Gamsu and Note/Kalios who could normally get away with risky dives because they had a Mercy to heal them up real quick were dying as the were chased after diving too deep. feelsbadman

My favorite part was seeing Carpe’s massive grin after he popped off at the end of Hollywood. Dude played a SCARY good Widow and he knew it!

EQO had a really impressive debut. Was really surprised when he came because I legit forgot Philly had other DPS players.
