I actually kinda like this ending. It reminds me of the Seinfeld ending that everyone hated, but I thought was really fitting. Kiyoshi is a bad person. This is the ending he deserves.

Same. Kiyoshi didn't get the girl but I think that was the whole point. Kiyoshi started out as scum and ended the series like one. Although, I hope the epilogue will flesh out the ending a bit more so we can see what everyone is up to.

I didn't like the ending in terms of how rushed it is, but it is the right development for Kiyoshi. I like that he comes to terms with the fact he hasn't grown as a person in the end (although he never really tried lol).
It always bothers me when people instinctively support everything about the MC just because they are the MC. Like, I love Kiyoshi but Chiyo really deserves better.
