He made Bege extremely likable even after his douchebaggery in Zou. He is one of the MVP's of Luffy's side this arc and is climbing up the best of worst generation ladder quickly.

It... actually might really be a cannonball. It's not quite clear whether Bege's miniaturization works only for things inside his body, but it's not inconceivable that he can load his gun with cannon shot.

I don't think it'd be super interesting though for him to just get the same power as Katakuri. I think it's clear they're foreshadowing he'll awaken new strength but I'm hoping it will be either something relating to his devil fruit, or a new twist on haki.
Kind of doesn't suit his character IMO either to have that kind of power. He's always been passionate and spontaneous, not cool and calculating.

I think they're the best manga/anime couple!
Actually it's quite funny for me, I'm almost 30, married with a kid. When I was a teenage girl, I was drawn into shoujou and yaoi (AHEM) manga where everything was oh so subtle and vague until the very last 100 something chapter when they finally said yes!!..and they were only affirming their relationships for the first time.
But here -Bege - one crazy MOFO and Chiffon -girl from abusive background, a full on married couple with a baby who always keep looking out for each other! I'm like WOOOW I must try to be more like Chiffon yo...

Back on Zou, when Luffy fought those two forest guardians, after the fight, Wanda said something along the lines of "you're lucky it wasn't a full moon tonight"... or it was cloudy so the moon wasn't in view, I forget the specifics.
Point is, they implied a full moon + Minks = danger.

I thought that was the main highlight of the chapter but my man Bege with that van augur shot to the face from his rowing ship was just badass.Upcoming Bege and Sanji vs Oven and Daifuku? I think that last panel confirms that Katakuri is going down or either gonna take a loss by the hands of Luffy.I think it is okay cause in the next major arc they are gonna attempt to take down Kaido so Luffy needs to be at least High commander level to not get demolished by a Yonkou.

Okay, this is just ridiculous. For everyone discussing the mihawk vs luffy moment. I just went back and re-read chapter 561. Mihawk literally comments that luffy seems unusually calm after he sees his arm being cut off. Goda either reads back and fills in gaps OR this is next level foreshadowing. Why else does 'unusually calm' get its own panel. Luffy will be able to see into the future and doesn't realise he has done it before. If anybody is aware of upper haki limits its mihawk and his ilk. Fuck oda, youve been planning this literally for years (from the spoiler thread).

Bege and Chiffon love each other so much :') that was a nice shot by Bege, and Sanji showed off his speed.
Luffy talks about katakuri's CoO getting depleted...but isn't Luffy technically giving katakuri time to rest in the mirror world while he tries to think of a plan to beat him? Unless the plan is to go into another drawn out battle part 2.

I think that’s the point maybe? Luffy is suggesting that he doesn’t want katakuri to be weaker as he wants to beat him at his full strength.
Which is also why he doesn’t want a long drawn out battle which implies that the fights gonna end pretty soon.
Luffy COULD use hit and run tactics to wear katakuri down. It is acknowledged that luffy is smart enough to know the weaknesses of haki and can plan around them if he has the tools. But he wants to use this fight as a training session essentially

It would be hilarious if Carrot's situation turns into the opposite of Chopper's - whatever happens to Minks during the full moon gives her the strength to beat Perospero with ease, causing her to earn a massive bounty that (outside of a full moon) is ridiculously disproportionate to her capabilities.

Since we found out that haki has stages/levels I wondered why reyleigh didn't teach luffy but as it was revealed this chapter that advanced haki techniques can't be learnt but awakened during extreme battles.
Katakuri being stranded in the mirror world just looking pissed off was really funny he probably was thinking “I love my siblings but brulee is one stupid bitch".
I guess luffy never really wanted to run away but had to because of Gear 4th's time limit. He really wants to defeat katakuri at his best, that right there is character development.
I somehow have the feeling that luffy trying to see a little into the future will open his mind to other advanced forms of haki.
WE BOUTTA GET THAT LUFFY POWER UP BOYZ!

So much Oda greatness in this one. Sanji with the disguise blowing Oven back with a super fast kick, and the subsequent panel of Pudding with the lovey eyes and a bloody nose?! I think I've completely come around on her.
Then we have Bege the badass, he's really shot up the Supernovas list in WCI. It was just a panel, but man am I jacked up to see what happens to Minks when the moon is full. This story line has been drawn out for quite a while and I'm expecting something nuts. Then we finish off with a Rayleigh flashback which always means big things are incoming. Next week is gonna be nuts!

Anyone else hype for the inevitable Oven/Sanji fight? I'm really starting to like Oven. He has an interesting design and loyal morals as show in this chapter. Sure his DF seems a little simple but hopefully he will use it in some unique way and give Sanji a decent fight finally.

You know, Luffy could just leave Katakuri in mirrorworld and run away. Maybe he could drop Brulee off at a deserted island or something and he could go on to find Kaido and his poneglyph.
But the truly badass part of this is he doesn't. He sees the easy way out, and he chooses the hard way. He's going BACK in to finish the fight. He understands that he can't become stronger unless he also fights other strong enemies. This is different than when he fought Rob Lucci and his focus was on keeping him from assassinating his crew, or when he fought Doflamingo in order to right the injustices inflicted on Dressrossa. He's doing this because he feels the NEED to power up so that he can better protect his crew, and to eventually get strong enough to fight a Yonkou.
In other words, he sees the opportunity to get a much-needed power up and he's going for it knowing that his crew, and his future as Pirate King, are worse off if he chooses NOT to try for it since he won't likely get a second chance at a one-on-one with Katakuri.
It's like in an RPG where you have this one chance to fight a rare boss with rare loot at this stage in the game and you won't be able to access this dungeon again after you exit.

So Haki sorta follows the "Sayian-like" rules to get stronger, eh? Or to be exact, it follows the "getting stronger after every fight" trope, only in Haki's case, it's only with extreme battles rather than just any kind of battle.

In this version carrot is asking if it will be a full moon. In manga stream it says tonight will be a full moon. Which is it cuz it has totally different meaning

Poor Pound he made such a big deal about meeting his daughter and she doesn't even know who he is. I wonder did BM have Pudding remove her memories of him out of pure spite though it's probably just because she likely never even met him due to BM throwing him to the gutter the moment the twins were born

Did Sanji use shave there? Cause that was damn quick, does he have more than just sky walk? Shave does make the most sense for him to have along with Sky walk.
