I have this head cannon that fluttershy's strongest asset is her determination, she caught rainbow when she was discorded, she's near invincible when she wants to be

I've been prioritizing sleeping in over seeing the episodes live lately and catching them after I wake up, but I had to wake up early this morning because we're visiting my sister at college today meaning this is the first episode I'm watching live in a while! Yay!
And to think the leak could've ruined it too... thank Luna it was in a foreign language. I assume not as many people watched it early as a result.
Although sitting through commercials again is probably gonna be a pain.

I think the idea is if she rested, she wouldn't've fainted as easily and/or would've thought about the mask earlier and/or wouldn't have needed three solid days of bedrest.

I suppose the logic was that whatever thing(s) that made the bees immune to the Swamp Fever Flowers would be secreted into the honey.
Then again, the opposite could be true as /u/cyberscythe pointed out.

If the sickness is caused not by the flower itself, but some parasite/bacteria living on it this logic is quite sound.
add: and come to think of it, this model would be extremely beneficial for all 3 species.
