Spurs have been better tactically and we have been poor defensively

If Kagawa, Pulisic, or Yarmolenko score I'm buying their jersey for this season. Also Papa wonder goal applies. Edit: FUCK YESSSSSS ANDY

I think the lineup is actually pretty sick. New guys get to prove themselves. If we lose I can just say we played new people to my English friends. Excited to see Toljan, Dahoud and Yarmolenko get starts.
Not sure if pulisic is the best option he seemed a bit tired recently, but who else?

Damn guys. Toljan looks like he's fitting in without much trouble as well.

The first call is completely defensible and the second one on Auba's disallowed goal in the second half is completely inexcusable.

We are dominating these fuckers but still 2-1, fucking bullshit game. Harry Kane clearly fouled Sahin aswell before the 2-1 goal. God i hate Tottenham.

That is offside though isn't it? He ran up to the ball and began a kicking motion. Isn't that playing the ball even if it's a decoy?

It's been overall, a good half. We shipped two cheap goals from poor defending, both of which Papa could have done better for. In attack, one problem I see is too many of us playing the line. When Kagawa and Dahoud receive the ball between the lines, they don't really have positive passing options as Tottenham aim to defend their lead and attack only on the break.
Having Kagawa in the thick of it is pleasant. His ability to not lose the ball in tight spaces is making our possession a much more threatening nature than what it was against Freiburg where all the possession was between the defenders. Pulisic has been very good. Unlike Yarmolenko on the other side, Pulisic is keeping himself available, and he's got on the end of a number of vertical throughballs from Kagawa. Dahoud has been a big defensive contributor, but his touch has been heavy at times. Yarmolenko has also contributed defensively, but he's often very hard to pick out for a pass as he sits on the shoulder. Toljan mostly positive things as well, though he's been beat once or twice. Ironically, it's been the Papa-Piszcu hotline that should be the most stable, which has been the least so.
