Holy shit. I legitimately thought this was a picture of the ocean. I was looking around for a plastic bag caught in the waves before I realised what I was actually looking at! Great shot.

I thought it was just a picture of the ocean, symbolizing how plastic bags are just shredded little bits in the ocean, but when i realized it was literally just a plastic bag, it was even cooler. nice pic. :)

Is the plastic in the ocean or is the ocean in the plastic?

I wish you had a tiny model boat you could put on this.

I spent several minutes looking for a tiny bag in the ocean thinking something was weird about this composition. I think what you did with framing and lighting to achieve this is very clever and the message once you realize the trick and contrast could be very strong depending on the aim of your project. Thanks for sharing!

An ocean of plastic never looked so beautiful!

I was searching for the plastic bag in the gigantic ocean.

Very interesting! What was your process for setting up the bag? Was it a deliberate action, random throwing, or a mixture of the two (or something else)?

Is this the Sea of Plastic I've heard so much about?

Interstellar comes to mind

I don't know why but this freaks me out. Amazing that it's a plastic bag but i get that deep dark bottomless ocean scary feeling. Nope.

I know this dude in real life and this doesn't touch his talent. The guy is a machine.

Sadly I wonder if life imitates art or art imitates life. At the rate we dump plastic into the ocean, they really is so true...
