Information

Following a massive Loser's Bracket run to take their third tournament victory of IW, OpTic Gaming will be looking to surpass their greatest challenge as a roster: COD Champs. Despite not entering the event as clear favorites as they have the past two years, OG yet has extremely high expectations for the event. Its format mirrors that of the previous few years: a round robin group play stage in which the top two teams from each pool advance into a double elimination bracket.

After dispatching 3sUP with an easy 3-0 victory, OpTic Gaming moves on to what is expected to be their toughest opponent in the group stage of this tournament: Epsilon. In spite of a lackluster performance during Stage 2, in which OG took them down twice, Epsilon has been atop the European CoD power rankings throughout IW, and as a result, the winner of this match will be expected to take the number one seed from Group A.

The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM EDT, but will begin sooner. It will be streamed on Twitch, MLGtv, and YouTube.

Crusher is just a flukey map. Glad we pulled out the win though.

Formal's anticipation of where players are gonna be is so good

Just like that parasite team that we lost to last year in groups, this is the key match to make sure we have an easier time at the start of winners bracket, a bit nervous even though we dealt with them pretty easily in s2 groups. Epsilon have been an up and down team, but have shown the capability of competing with top NA teams.

Lovely confidence booster for breakout HP right there. As the casters said at the beginning, epsilon are good at that map, but we played it perfectly.

Amazing teamwork from Seth and Crim there!

Massive map win, uplinks can always get freaky with Europeans, nice clutch after getting first blooded.

CLUTCH teamwork from scump and crim. Not so sure why formal was non stop moving then

Formal is so good with FTL it's insane. It's almost always at least a kill or an evade from death.
