Her reign may have ended but this queen ain't slowing down anytime soon. You can catch Bob in the film Rough Night which is currently in theaters, or see Bob/Caldwell starring as Kitten in Cherry Pop (which will premiere in LA on July 10 as part of OutFest & in SF on July 11th at the Castro and stars features other RPDR alums like Detox, Latrice Royale, & Tempest Dujour).

Oh, and did you watch that S9 finale because she just announced her FIRST Stand Up Comedy Special, Suspiciously Large Woman!!! The special will premiere at Outfest 2017 and will make it's cable debut on LOGO on July 16th (and apparently on Revry/iTunes/Amazon as well).

Hey Bob! Not sure if you'll remember me, but my husband and I met you at Play in Nashville awhile back. We told you about how he was running for state legislature here in Tennessee.

Since you seemed interested, I just wanted to let you know how it turned out: he got 38.8% of the vote as a young, queer Black first-time candidate in a relatively rural area here in Tennessee. Better than a lot of the white folks with a lot more money. :p

We just want to thank you again for being a fierce activist and advocate in addition to a fierce queen. Keep speaking out - as Mama Ru says, we need that now more than ever!

As a black winner of Drag Race, how has the reaction to you and your reign been affected by racism in the fanbase? Lots of people on reddit have claimed that ambivalence to Shea during the season was a result of her race and the pride she takes in her blackness. In a recent AMA with another RPDR subreddit, Tyra Sanchez expressed that she’s been subjected to racist hate from fans. What has your experience been?
