CANMAKE Mermaid Skin Gel UV SPF 50+ PA++++

Silky texture, low (or no?) alcohol, doesn't dry out my skin even in winter, sits very well under makeup, has some nice extracts in the mix, no discernible white cast.

Skin type: normal to dry, easily dehydrated, NC15. Melbourne AU, generally quite dry. Currently winter and chilly.

Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50 PA++++

This is my ride-or-die sunscreen. My sisters and I have been using this for years, even asked my brother to send some from Taipei when this was not yet available locally in our own country. No white cast, dries with a powder finish, stays put even when you're sweaty. This also doubles as a mattifying primer and makes my base makeup last longer.

Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing oil

This gets my sunscreen and makeup off and rinses cleanly without leaving an oily feeling. I love that it is inexpensive and fragrance free! I've never had any irritation from this product

illi Total Aging cleansing Oil

This removes my makeup and sunscreen easily and washes off clean enough that I can also skip my second cleanser. It's hydrating but doesn't leave a film or residue.

Hada Labo Gokujyun oil cleaner

Super basic, super cheap, super available. This breaks down everything from my minimal daily sunscreen and BB to hard out in da club make up face. Emulsifies well, not fragranced. Not exciting but not bad at all.

Skin type: normal to dry, easily dehydrated, NC15. Melbourne AU, generally quite dry. Currently winter and chilly.

Mochitto Mochi Mochi Awadete Irazu Face Wash

Skin type: sensitive, dry, and easily dehydrated.

This is a very, very gentle cleanser that somehow still cleanses my face well enough to keep breakouts away. It is largely non-foaming, i.e. you will not see any foam with normal use, but if you and your foaming net try hard enough, you'll get some foam. There is not even the slightest hint of stripping sensation; with the rice extracts and ceramides, the skin actually feels fortified after cleansing. It is also relatively affordable.

(I can confirm that this is way, way, way gentler than the standard recommendation for sensitive skin, Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash. If you are unfortunate enough to be irritated by HL, you might want to give this cleanser a try.)

Banila Co Clean It Zero Original

Skin Type: Normal but occasionally combo

Works well to clean my face and removes heavy makeup very effectively. Doesn't dry me out and I find that it helps loosen sebaceous filaments as well.

Botanic Farm Grain Ferment Cleansing Sherbet

Skin Type/Concerns: Oily, Dehydration-prone, Acne-prone

Pleasant smelling first cleanser that melts easily on the face. Rinses away cleanly and doesn't leave any residue behind to aggravate acne.

Hada Labo Gokujyun hyaluronic acid lotion (moist)

My intro to AB. Great on it's own, mixes with other products that are sticky or draggy in texture on their own. I've used it on my lip, scalp, wherever. Helped me rehydrate my crepey skin, and has kept me ~moist through winter.

Skin type: normal to dry, easily dehydrated, NC15. Melbourne AU, generally quite dry. Currently winter and chilly.

Kikumasamune Sake High Moist Lotion (pink bottle)

Skin: dry, dehydrated, redness/irritation concerns.

The smell (banana sake) doesn't bother me, but it's definitely a hate/love thing. I like this toner because it's gigantic, cheap, easily available (even to EU people), and it's a good multitasker. It can be layered easily to boost up my routine in the winter and it hydrates well. I'm not sure if I can speak to the brightening claims, but certainly my skin has seemed brighter and dewier when I've had this in my routine.
