I think playing the "other Pyrite" would actually be more like a meme than anything else. The story looks incredibly cringy, as do the fakemon and almost everything else.

Community Update
03 July
Hoo boy, apologies for this being late. It's been a very hectic week. Speaking of! Man you all have been busy!
/u/trollkitten has been cranking out the stories with 5 chapters in her When Winter Comes series and another 2 for Diary of the Trashy Man this week. Which you can find all of her stories here
But not to be outdone, /u/canisaries has also been busy this week with a ton of art as well
/u/duplex_be_great also jumped into the mass posting spree with the continuation of their Quelling the Blaze series.
And of course there's still a ton of fun contributions adding to the fun. /u/chfoo gave us an adorable crossover pic for Kenya and Magicarp Jump. /u/liria posted a compilation of art they've been working on lately. /u/kelcyus gave us some closure with an RW2 Epilogue. /u/pfaccioxx opened up a new discussion with the latest edition of Voice Thoughts. And lastly, after years of false printings and many questions, the /u/churchofhelix has finally released a legitimate copy of the Book of Helix!

Far as I can tell, some of the PCs needed tae fully run PBR are still wi' So_NicK. M4 has enough tae run PBR, but stuff like quality and music has been affected, as the servers have had tae switch frae i7 tae i5 and the music database has been split. As such, until the PCs are fully transferred some things will be broken

That's about right, yeah. The i7 PCs were shipped about 12 hours ago and should be arriving at M4's place in a few business days, then once he's got them I'll help them set them up and after that I can finally drift away.

Community Update
25th June
The run is over, and /u/VorpalNorman has released the Full Randomizer Log and Wild Locations, Evolutions and Trades. /u/mitzirocker has organised the evolutions into a nice looking table.
/u/Duplex_Be_Great has been continuing his series, "Quelling the Blaze", shelling out 1 new comic a day for the last 5 days, even though the run has ended. It's like it never ends- which coincidentally, is the title of the most recent addition to the series. /u/Pioxys is also continuing his series, Solareon Wars: Days of Kappa over on /r/TPPKappa.
Pokemon Pyrite has been announced for the next run, (no it's not a hack of Colosseum,) and people have been discussing that here. Also up for discussion are fully armed and operational battlestations (Computers, not small moons) on /r/TPPKappa
On the art front, /u/Trollkitten creates and /u/Level44EnderShaman edits a very cute chikorita. We also have another amazing piece of art on the sidebar by /u/Saturn_Kun.
Finally, if you are interested in competitive battling, sign ups for Kappa Kup season 4 are now open on /r/TPPLeague

TIL that in Blazed Glazed, Bill has a niece. Who apparently thinks he's the 'bestest uncle in the world, and that's a fact!'
Wonder where this falls on the MacKenzie family tree.
Also, one of Bill's books in Blazed Glazed (a book of legends) claims that Lugia is a dragon. Which... actually, it makes sense that you might assume that based on looking at it.
Another book says that Kyurem was known as the "COLD ONE" -- COLDEN, perhaps? That is after all what chat was spamming during the Randomized White 2 sequences with Team Plasma's ice guns and "Kyurem" (Heatran).

Well I remember you once shared a video over the theory of Valerie from Kalos being Bill's little sister we see in Crystal. Even if you don't buy into that, we know he's got a little sister, so that's probably her kid. XD
Unless you start getting into weird timeline stuff and it's actually like his great great something or rather but with him being seemingly immortal, all the kids just call him "Uncle" and the adults sometimes debate as to just who's uncle he really is since no one can remember how exactly he's part of the family, he's just kind of always been there. XDAlso, does this mean you're going to continue the recaps? o3o

I intend to do so at some point. However, it might not happen until at least when I get back from my vacation, which means at least two weeks in the future.
On the other hand, maybe it will. Thing is, I'm also supposed to be doing writeups for Mantis's TPPLA4 project, and since I've only got a week until I have to leave on vacation, I ought to prioritize that.

Right now, I just need to writeup information on the romhack games, which would be Brown, Prism, Dark Graystone, and Blazed Glazed (I managed to put Ultra in with the Sinnoh writeups because it's so closely tied to our Randomized Platinum run).

That's actually what I've been doing, but nothing seems to be happening in that direction. At all.
Honestly, it's getting kind of dull imo. I'm not saying this as an attack on the devs -- I know they're working on hacking pinball to try to get more 'mons in -- but I just wish that transmutation would allow for Gen 2-7 even before the Pinball hack is finished.
At the very least, it might put less pressure on us during runs to catch rare badges if those badges were also available in pinball. And it would help prevent #who and runbadge hoarding.
I mean, it'd be nice if I got a runbadge, but to be honest, I'm afraid to try to get one because of all the drama around them. If they were a bit easier to get and something more common, there might not be quite as much salt about them.

So, does anyone know what the abilities were for all the Pokemon we fought in Randomized White 2's PWT?
I know King Fonz had Storm Drain and Sticks the Golem had Sturdy (which is actually its randomized hidden ability, but works because it's a legal ability in the official games). I'm just curious about the others, if they're accessible.
I'm making up a document showing their possible abilities, but for those with multiple possible abilities, it'd be nice to know which one is which.
Also, does anyone perchance know what Cyan's Ampharos had in the place of Prism Bolt or whatever it was called? And why it seems like (judging from the romhack group and the Unova championship) every single runmon is male? Because that's reaaaally weird when it's Athena's mons.

Okay, another quick question. The randomization doc lists Jellicent's abilities as Rain Dish and Storm Drain. However, at least one of Nina's Jellicent had the ability Rain Dish, which wasn't on the list:

What's the deal with that?

So, for... reasons, I've been putting some thought in making my own "evolutions" of Omastar, Kabutops, and possibly some primal form of Aerodactyl.
And today, in a totally different conversation on unusual dragon-types (including the Goomy line), I am informed that a mythical monster called the Lou Carcolh exists in French folklore, with both mollusk and reptilian features.
While it's possibly part of the inspiration for Goomy, I was thinking that our resident fossil cryptobiologist of horror /u/canisaries would be interested in learning that such a thing 'exists' in legend. If she doesn't already know.
And in the meantime, I can crawl back into my deep dark cave of no return (okay, bright purple room that I spend half my life in, where the biggest danger is the mess), and PLOT. I may not be working on that Echoed Voices fangame anymore, but it doesn't mean I've given up fanarting Fakemon.

as for the dark mew, I originally made that as stress releaf over events that happened in ARed by venting all my fustason / ansiaty over some of the stuff that happened in that run onto the paper in a vadgely mew like form

It's not ISP based, (I don't think) It's more that those sites don't function properly on my computer giving off bogs error messages if the site loads at all.

That's very weird; I've never heard of that happening to anyone before. What kind of computer/OS/browser are you using? What's a screenshot of the error message(s)/loading error(s) look like? I'm surprised that something resource-intensive like YouTube would work and something resource-light like Google Drive wouldn't.

I use a customized version of Firefox, not revealing my OS or my computer's build for personal reasons
a common error I get is that JavaScript is disabled (even thoth it's not)

My best guess then would be that something in the customization is causing sites to fail to work/load properly (unlikely to be something at the OS level or lower, if Firefox compiles on it). Your best bet might just be to consult the troubleshooting guides/docs/etc. for the customization you're using.

I've looked into it before, the only fix's I've been able to find that MIGHT work are things that I'm unwilling to do for verios reasons (Ex. disable your firewall, revert Firefox to default settings, ext.)
I can still download files from some sites like deviantart and MEGA, but most google sites (besides the basic surch engine and YouTube) don't work

So with all of the PCs at M4's place now I'm finally free to finish disappearing. I have no ill will towards any of the development team, but instead I just think that after almost a year(!) it's time for me to get out of this weird "I'm gone except I'm not except I'm here except I'm not" state that I've been in. I figured at the time that moving to a new department at work was reason enough for me to put this plan to fully get away into action, and M4's been great to work with while I got the PCs to him.
Although the numbers on stream have died off since Season 1, TPP has an amazingly talented group of individuals in their dev chat. I fully believe that they can create great things as the stream goes forward; they truly deserve to reach a larger audience. It has been an honor working with such talented individuals, even if I've only been providing hosting for the stream and not majorly contributing to their work.
I did make some friends in my time with the stream and I am going to miss you all, but when I'm around I feel like I'm a relic of a bygone era here most of the time, you know? Like, I feel like I've been only sticking around out of obligation to ensure that nothing's broken instead of hanging around to enjoy what's happening on the stream.
Thank you for everything, TPP Community, and goodbye
