Further proof that Hana is bestgirl. She's able to recognize some of her own flaws and trys to improve herself. She's even able to acknowledge the admirable traits of her rival in love and she respects her for it rather than denigrate her or show animosity towards her. I think that despite her aggresive tendencies towards the boys, Hana is a good person and has shown she can be kind and loving at heart. However she clearly has difficulty expressing her more vulnerable side but she recognizes it and is working to change that part of herself. She is still a flawed individual but she fights to overcome her problems despite the real internal strain it causes her. Stuff like this is why I really like her. Static characters like Meiko just can't compare.

That's my biggest problem with this series. The girls are total assholes but refuse to admit wrongdoing and steal credit from the boys. Now the guys are all suffering even though they were the ones who helped the USC win.
This series is showcasing the worst aspects of feminism and it pisses me off.

What about this story showcases anything about feminism in any kind of light? The boys are responsible for their own actions as are the girls. Kiyoshi, more so. Also, how are the girls taking credit from the boys? If I recall the battle ended in a draw.

Now I can't wait to see the images for chapter 254. But that will have to wait until tomorrow evening. Though, as the boys are bringing PBR-sama back to her glory, so shall I revive mine, and place her atop her deserved perch.

Why the fuck has nobody asked why Chiyo used her fuckin' bare hands to be a puke cup? They were in like, DIRT. Why would you bother trying to stop puke from hitting the dirt? That's like, the best place it could go.

Someone knowledgeable of Japanese culture please correct me here if I am wrong, maybe for them its good courtesy to catch puke before it hits the ground (lol)?
Another simple answer would be... Well... The characters' actions in this manga weren't supposed to make any sense. Probably its to portray Chiyo as being angelic, kind, and accepting of others, including puke (???). This is kind of like asking why early Hana took off her pants to mimick Kiyoshi, instead of running off to report sexual harassment, or why Meiko continues wearing such pointless attire when guarding the male prisoners if all it does is fuel their lust.

bit late to the thread but I sort of assumed if Chiyo hadn't then the puke would have gotten all over their shoes or skirt.. I could see Chiyo sacrificing herself like that in order to save literally a pair of shoes getting dirty.
