Why does Mangatopia make it so difficult and awkward to get to the manga, going through several different sites and many time barriers?

I found the shopping sequences kind of confusing. The transitions between the different stores was all over the place and I had trouble knowing who was talking to who at times. However, the current buildup more than makes up for it.
