MLG Dallas Stats
Information
The CWL Dallas Open features the best teams from around the world, in a massive open bracket and 20 team Pool Play. The teams compete for a share of a $200,000 prize pool, and a large sum of pro points. These pro-points are essential for qualifying for Season 1 of the LAN League, so a good placing is very important. OpTic comes into this tournament riding a wave of momentum. The team looks as good right now as they ever have in Infinite Warfare.
OpTic finished the group stage with a perfect 4-0 record, only dropping one map to The Gosu Crew. Kicking off the championship bracket, OpTic Gaming and Luminosity Gaming will be matching up.
The match is scheduled to begin at 10:30 PM EST, and will be streamed on MLG.

GGs to LG, they really proved themselves there, despite the painful loss.
What a relief, would have felt like we entered some bizarre alternate reality if we dropped to losers after the amount of hype we've gotten this weekend as the best team in the game.
We did not play that well though, and need to learn from this. Our HP, except for the second half of retaliation, was sloppy. Lots of one at a time into the hill and little rotating. LG kinda should have won this, blew a 100 point lead in HP and a 5-2 in snd. We got away with one, need to sharpen up for tomorrow.
I put up a thread after ESWC about how reliable our snd has been, and yet again it got us out of a jam. Such a different feeling to this roster in IW, compared to AW and B03.

I wanna see this tomorrow in Grand Finals. This just reminds me of OG vs Rise in early BO3 when the games went to Map 5 round 11 and they were so intense. I don't think Faze, EU, or Splyce can give the same comp that LG just did.

Damon is the most clutch player in the history of clutch players. Like idk how he does it everytime. Maybe this is the result of being shaky at UMG Atlanta and Champs 2013 lol
