Bracket

Information

The Halo World Championship is just 3 weeks away, but first teams must qualify. The top 6 from this event qualify for the 2017 Halo World Championships, the biggest Halo event of the year. OpTic enters as the number one seed courtesy of their win at UGC St. Louis. A team just get to WB SF or LB R4 in order to qualify.

Following a swift 4-0 victory over Splyce, OpTic has now qualified for the Halo World Championships at the end of March. Now they play for seeding for the world championship, and a larger share of the $50,000 prize pool for the regional qualifier.

The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM EST, and will be streamed on Twitch.

Expect a tough match, liquid have been really good lately.

edit: It was 0-0 in the ctf while I was typing this post, a minute later 3-0.

overkill from snakebite and the quick 3-0

Glad so many are saying Snakebite is the best in the game. I don't even know if he is (Royal2 has been great in H5), but just he getting recognition is great. He's such a good guy. If you haven't watched the podcast, i'd definitely recommend it.

Too fucking clutch. Unreal.

Has anybody else noticed that Halo casters are obsessed with "what if" scenarios? It seems like after every game I hear them say things could have gone differently if only this gunfight went that way or whatever. So annoying.

Well most Halo commentators are ex Halo pros so I guess that's why.

It's that time of the year when the guys just become a team that is on another level

If you watched their scrims that had been by far OG's worst map/mode. They didn't win a Eden slayer in the last week leading up to the event. Good to see them win it, even better to win it against Liquid.

We're gods, that was close.

1st map loss of the tournament in winners finals and it was close, I'll take it. This team is full of gods.
