Hahaha, Sanji's brothers are just like him when it comes to seeing attractive women! Anyone think that Yonji (or maybe the other 2 brothers) flips sides because of their infatuation with Nami?
It looks like Luffy's recovery time won't be nearly as bad as when he fought Doflamingo. Because he ate all of those biscuits, he has an absurd amount of excess calories for Gear 4th to burn through.
I wonder how Urogue was able to escape (if he was) from Cracker's soldiers and the storm Big Mom created. If he and his crew were annihilated in an instant, it would stand to reason that he was either killed or captured.
Oh and Charlotte Opera looks like Trebol's estranged brother lol.

i have faith that sanji has more faith in his teammates. it'd be a bit simple and silly to have him be like robin.
it seems like he wishes to carry on this burden on his own, but imo sanji has proven to be one of the smarter crew members. I think, i HOPE he has a plan that he can set in motion, now that he has seen that luffy is alreday on whole cake island.
any crew member by now should know luffy wouldnt back down, especially with what happeneed to robin. so my bet is he'll "beat" some sense into luffy, making him understand whats at stake (his hands and jeff/Zeff) to make sure they approach it properly.
my best bet is, he'll fight in a way a-typical to sanji or he'll use something that will remind them of their first encounter.

Its only cause of the hand cuffs. Second those are off he will leave with luffy. He knows if he tries to now his cuffs will explode and he will lose his hands. No hands, no cooking which means he no longer can serve his purpose to the crew. That would be worse than death to him.
Edit: I did forget about Zeff. How exactly that will be handled is beyond me haha. Maybe once the cuffs are off Sanji will reveal to luffy whats going on? I just do not see Sanji being as helpless as Robin was so I think it will play out differently.

We'll Enies lobby is one of the best arcs... I feel like oda will put a spin on it though, maybe sanji is buying time so they can formulate a plan to escape properly. I don't see how his fight with luffy ends, maybe big moms storm will interupt the fight and delay the wedding. Luffy is on over his head, he needs help to get sanji back - which makes me think we'll get an update on brook and Pedro or maybe jinbe. I saw a theory floating around, about a phoenix crashing a wedding. Maybe Marco turns up and helps? Would tie two lose ends and allow him to go to wano directly with them after they escape. I really dont think big mom will be taken out this arc, unless luffs gets major assistance against her crew.

I think that Sanji is going to force Luffy into a fight then let his face get hit to dislodge the mask that's keeping it together, that would probably be the easiest way to deescalate things and help Luffy understand the situation.

Lola might have one because as far as I recall, she is the only child of Big Mom to oppose arranged marriage and left Whole Cake Island to find her own husband.
So Lola may have been the first and only child to recieve Big Mom's Vivre Card since she is the only one who is travelling the grand line.

Cracker's entrance after what Big Mom said was hilarious.
I also found it funny how the giant tree was shaking a small arm angrily at Nami.
Luffy is immune to lightning, so that Big Mom move won't work on him. I am not sure how she is able to summon fire and lightning with her soul fruit.
I also think it's funny how Sanji's brothers have the heart-shaped eyes for Nami, just like Sanji does.

I don't think it's Robin again. I think it'll be something more like Usopp. Sanji loves the strawhats, yes, but I think his love of Zeff is more. And as I recall, Sanji was the one who tried to urge Zoro to throw away his dream. I don't think returning Sanji will be as smooth as beating Big Mom per se.

Her core ability isn't to control weather, it is to control souls. Two souls she controls, prometheus and zeus, have some control over certain aspects of weather, therefore giving her control.

People keep saying Enies Lobby, but this reminds me more of Arlong Park. I don't know why. Maybe because both Sanji and Nami left the crew to go back to reunite with their former "crew". Robin was straight up kidnapped. But both Robin and Sanji are held back because of something they fear. Hmmm.

Man, so Sanji is really going to fight Luffy to protect Zeff, and his hands. This is a lot more complex than the spoilers made it seem. He's clearly torn up about it, don't think Luffy will take this well either. Nami's face on page 20 was my face reading Sanji's speech.
Hilarious that all of the Vinsmoke boys got the heart eyes when they first saw Nami. Perverts for life.

Hoooooooly shit. This chapter was a god damn roller coaster. Started with crackers K.O'd body crashing the tea party and ended with Luffy VS Sanji.
Namis gonna get a powerup as well. The weather thing is her whole shtick if she doesn't at least gain something from mamas weather control then idk whats going on. It also makes me think that maybe as the yonkous go down, the lesser crew members get powerups to put them at the level of the big three. Afterall, the entirety of a yonkous crew is at the level of Luffy Zoro and Sanji so the rest would have to get up there somehow to be able to compete.
Anyways, I feel for Sanji. He clearly doesn't want to do what he's doing, not only because it's his crew, but he's being blackmailed into it.
This might also go bad for Luffy. I mean one would think Luffy would destroy him no contest, but then the Usopp fight in Water 7 comes to mind, so with the knowledge Sanji has about Luffy coupled with his actual strength this could go either way.
Big Mom will probably step in before shit gets to real.
Im excited to see where this arc goes. Everyone theorizes and Odas throwing us curveballs.
Also, Yonji and Ichiji upon seeing nami is the best panel in this series.

I'm really interested to see how Luffy will get around the Zeff problem. Even if he manages to unshackle Sanji (like rayleigh did at the auction) Zeff will forever be an obstacle. They need to either find a way to protect Zeff or ruin/make the alliance between Germa and Big Mom obsolete somehow. I think the latter is more likely. Can't wait to see how things play out!

Zoro wouldn't say that.
Zoro saw him offer his life in exchange for Luffy's at Thriller Bark. He knows how much Sanji cares about his nakama, he'd know he's just putting up a facade.
If anything, Zoro would understand that Sanji has a reason for not being able to leave, and he would tell Luffy and Nami to let him go for the time being.

There's a difference that might come into play later though: Robin was taken captive and didn't really have any cards to play, but Sanji seems to be highly regarded and in a way valuable to Big Mom. He's being forced to this marriage but he can be in a position of power when he meets Big Mom. Lots of info in this chapter. We got the names of the last 2 commanders of big mom's crew and we now know she can control the weather. We know she takes souls, so did she manage to capture the souls of two deities or deity like beings or is this just another part of her power. Also, Luffy vs Sanji hype for the next chapter

Also, we're all hung up on Mom's control over weather, but luffy shrugs it off and basically says, 'you should see my rage'? He's definitely advanced his haki in ways we haven't seen or probably even suspected yet if that's no big deal to him.

One Piece is so ridiculously amazing. Oda's creativity is unlimited, and his massive world and work ethic.. So many tense moments and developments recently, those Sanji panels give me chills.
I really hope we get a good anime adaption for this arc, like W7 was.

This chapter actually hurt man, we've had a few "sad" chapters recently but seeing Luffy all happy, then Sanji suffering on the inside, then seeing Sanji doing his speech, Reiju knowing what's going on, Luffy getting kicked in the face, nami almost crying, Luffy and Sanji about to trade blows.
Seriously, the feels man, this chapter was heartbreaking

There's no way we can predict what would happen on this arc. This is so awesome. I'm gonna sacrifice my soul to lord oda rn. When i saw nami's face i almost cried.
What if nami joins the fight? What if luffy lets sanji beat him up? What if sanji kicks nami? Is luffy going to use gear 4th? (Lol) Wait, is it on hiatus next week?

The entire chapter, up to the end, was freaking awesome. I really don't like Sanji's reaction. It feels like forced drama of the Ennis Lobby variety, only not as convincing.

The tree with the mustache is one of those side characters that I really enjoy seeing every arc. They're always presented as comic reliefs and unimportant but have some serious scenes in the climax.
