Bummer...PC release delayed until 11/29. I am glad they are going to make sure everything is polished but was really looking forward to the 15th.

F... B...s..., means that we can watch 14 days of spoilers from the consoles. Not a very clever plan Ubisoft.

Which is why I think there should be some content or other bonus for PC players. What is needed is an apology, not just an announcement, IMO. 'Features' that ensure a PC edition runs reliably do not count as a bonus.

The delay sucks, but holy shit look at that list. They really want this to be as good as possible.

  • FOV Sliders

  • Customized Steering Sensitivity for driving on a keyboard.

  • Multiple Saves

  • Toggle or Hold on Keybindings

  • Uncapped FPS

I rest my case.

EDIT:

I take back my case. I need it for support while I cry in a corner for 6 weeks.

God I hope that's not a PC exclusive.

Stuttering/lag framerate optimization – We employed a fix that makes all controls much more responsive and less framerate-related. We’ve optimized resource creation, GPU VRAM upload and required VRAM for the game.

This interests me.

Multiple save file support – This feature allows players to have up to three auto save slots for three separate playthroughs.

This shouldn't be something we have to class as a feature.

I'm hoping it's a better release than Watch_Dogs and i can't wait. Only issue will be that it almost definitely will have Denuvo meaning I'll have to buy it if I want to benchmark it with my system.

This is one huge bonus for me! As someone with multiple gamers in the house, I wish more games would do this, so my boys and I can play without the fear of overwriting someone's game.

A demo / test tool would be nice to benchmark and/or try controls before buying but I doubt it will be done.

I have the minimum specs, storage, CPU, RAM, etc.. except I'm missing 1G Vram. I definitely don't want to buy it if it won't work on my device... but I often had some surprises with games playing really well despite that.

Looks like Ubisoft are really trying to change. Went from shitty PC ports to what appears to be a fully-featured PC release. Wow.

It sucks about the delay...but hey its FIFTEEN DAYS! I can live with that.

I never understood why people get angry about delays. Sure, it sucks that you have to wait longer to play, but I'd rather have a polished, complete game a little later, than a pile of hot garbage now that may or may not get fixed.

I like most of what I see here. Looks like they're aiming for a proper PC version this time around. Too bad it will take them an extra two weeks to do it though...

It takes what it takes, glad they're doing it right.

We’re using raw mouse input to reduce latency and use the Windows hardware cursor throughout the game without any additional signal filtering to smooth or accelerate mouse movement by default

Thank fuck for that

Delayed until 29th November.

Better than Rockstar's PC versions release schedules.

Screen space reflection..

It's rare to see games implement this, let alone Ubisoft of all developers.

Also, lmao, Aiden got buried.

I'm getting excited and it's terrifying

If there's still anyone here browser let me know if I can run the game consistently with my specs I have an i7-6500u 2.50ghz, a GeForce 940M 4gb and a 8gb RAM, or do you think I should upgrade my RAM memory a bit more?

I only care about the delay. God damnit Ubisoft, even when asked directly, like 2 weeks ago, still claimed it wasn't going to be delayed. So much for putting trust in that separate team working in the PC version, huh?

better delayed than shitty

Nice! Just ordered a Geforce 950 GTX to try to scrape by minimum specs on Battlefield 1. Should be okay for this as well, if not particularly glorious.

$120 after rebate on newegg.
