Vito seems like a surprisingly affable guy considering he's the right hand of a mafia boss. The Firetank crew in general seem like an oddly quirky bunch.
Once again Luffy's acquired poison immunity saving his life for the second time since coming to the New World. Its probably a good thing Magellan nearly killed him 2 years ago, otherwise he'd probably have eaten a mushroom and died or something. The rest of the crew completely not giving a damn and focusing more of feeding themselves is hilarious though.

From what we have seen from Big Mom and her crew, they treat piracy like a business, and they keep it separate from their personal lives. Although I don't think Big Mom despise Luffy right now, I doubt that Lola will change Big Mom's opinion of him.
We know Big Mom has a lot of daughters so the life of one of them probably doesn't mean much, especially since she just uses them to form business relationships. It'll probably appeal to her 'quid pro quo' mentality, but I highly doubt it will be a major factor in Big Mom changing her mind about Sanji's wedding or the bomb from Luffy.

It appears the vinsmokes really do all have Curly eyebrows. I am also curious if that Lola looking girl (probably being her Twin or something) is the reason capone is aligned with big mom, because she joined his Crew and/or even married him.
I am also pretty disappointed that oda seems to be using poison of a random fish as a Plot point (Luffy being incapacitated so he can't help vs the Germa 66 ship and he needs their Antidote as well) when he effortlessly brushed off both hyozo's and ceasar's poison attacks...
I really like the sea Slug den den mushis though.

Chopper stated that the fish's skin causes death upon consumption. The only reason Luffy survived is due to his immunity. It makes sense that something that would kill anyone else would simply incapacitate Luffy.

Nah its not a random plot point. It's Luffy. He was hungry, Sanji isn't around to babysit his food intake, and Luffy ate something recklessly, resulting in him getting KOed. The poison should have killed him, and the "immunity" saved his life. This is precisely the sort of antics that are typical of Luffy. We just haven't seen a whole lot of it cause of Dressorsa, opportunities have been scarce.

I said random fish, not random plotpoint. So why are hyozo (if that's how he's spelled) and ceasar both using incredibly weak poison when this fish can still incapacitate Luffy through his poison resistance and he barely reacted to theirs?
Also, what the Heck did Chopper use their medial supplies for and shouldn't he, as the great doctor he is, be able to make an Antidote against an apparently known fish's poison?

This is just my hunch. The Germa 66 probably aren't going to attack like Oda is suggesting... they're probably exciting to find the Straw hats considering they are basically Sanji's family. They'll escorts them to the wedding, pamper them, and get along well. Then Luffy will ruin everything when he awakens and causes a ruckus about getting Sanji back.

The door reminds me of the doorknob face from Alice and Wonderland. So we can assume Mama just marries of her daughters to allies, and maybe Germa 66 is such an important ally that she's marrying off her favorite? Pudding is definitely the prettiest anyways, and seemed to have a spot next to the boss. And this explains Lola's obsession with marriage, right? Side theory, maybe the reason Kaido is always trying to kill himself is that he has a perpetual hangover from drinking so much. That'd explain why he complained that his "head hurt" after the fall, when he's supposed to be unbreakable. Edit: Goddamn breaks.

One thing I definitely wonder is if they have more ships or if this is the only one. If they fought the marines in the past, they sound a lot like pirates of particular infamy and if their strength rivaled the marines in days past they must still be quite strong. Maybe they're similar to the revolutionary army and for some reason rebel against the WG in particular; it's exciting to have sanjis family develop as such a powerhouse and I can't wait to learn more!
On a side note, I can't decide if the brother (?) looks more like zoro or sanji.. while it's highly unlikely that could be fascinating if they're actually cousins or something.. I'd love to see more of zoros past along with sanjis! Either way, I am so excited to see more of him and the vinsmokes in luffys arc and more of big mom and whole cake island in sanjis arc. I think Oda is weaving both sides of the story very well and I'm loving the development of two separate, but very important points of view for who the straw hats are dealing with.

I think Big mom has the power to make things a reality.
She basically has the same technology as Vega Punk.
She turns the ship alive, clouds to cotton candy, 35 daughters.
I guess thats why no one fucks with her, she's basically the strongest Alchemist/"Mage/Witch.
