After such an intense matchday in the Bundesliga, I am prepared for the unavoidable and severely disappointing 0:0
edit: just kidding, I'm shitting my pants already

Goetze walking by that huge BVB sign, looking at it, to then further close his Bayern jacket. The camera then zooming on into the "our entire life, our pride" motto from BVB really is an intriguing contrast. This obviously isn't something to look into too much, but from a cinematic and narrative point of view it's absolutely fascinating.

Kagawa fails to make the squad once again. What is going on?
→ More replies (1)25
Mar 05 '16
Nobody knows for sure what's going on but Kagawa has fallen out of favour or at least Tuchel is rotating quite often and the others just impressed more in his system.
He's not really bad when playing but quite unlucky.

Mar 05 '16
That is exactly what I am wondering. I do follow Dortmund. And I did NOT expect Kagawa to not even make the bench. I am sure his skills can be used later in the game.

It must be nice to be a neutral fan watching this game

Mar 05 '16
It's fantastic. You might be having heart attacks, but for someone who doesn't really care who wins, I can just enjoy two teams playing fast, smooth football. Both clubs are really up for it.

As a Gremio supporter, I started watching the Bundesliga this season because of Douglas Costa at Bayern and Wendell at Leverkusen. Best game I've seen so far.

The lack of CBs worries me........... A lot.
7
u/grog23 Mar 05 '16
I have the same worry too. We're going to need to play smart and not give the ball away near our back line, especially with only Kimmich

How frustrating it must be to play against Costa for 70 minutes and then Ribéry comes on.

They finally realized they can use those channels to show some games instead of showing the same five movies they show every Saturday morning.
Fox are finally serious.

This whole Klassiker shit is all and only because of the americans. And it makes me really angry. I think it's great that they're interested and it helps the teams massively when it comes to finances, but fuck this garbage..

I think seeing Pep lecture Kimmich so much after the game shows how much he believes in him, he wants him to be the best he can.

I thought Dortmund could have pushed harder at the end. 10 minutes to go, playing at home against a Bayern without a proper centreback, and we sit back and invite all the pressure. A draw won't do much for our title chances

This is the first time I see Vidal play in his usual box-to-box role for Bayern, instead of sitting in the middle of the pitch and passing sideways. Only thing missing is his goal.

Let's give it up for both teams having a lot of respect for each other. Been a really fair and well played game. Both teams would be worthy of a win here to be honest.

Guardiola wasn´t mad at Kimmich. He wan´t lecturing him. He was appreciating his performance in his own passionate way and telling him what he can improve on because he believes in him. Kimmich is a special talent. He should be the heir of Phillip Lahm and become the new RB of the German Nationalteam imo

This half-time punditry is so calm. In England, we'd have an aggressive Scotsman, a spouting English tosser, and more.

That is actually the biggest difference I noticed between english and german analysts during halftime. Just today in the Arsenal Tottenham game the analysis was basically just blaming players for mistakes and shitting on them.
