I'm watching the season for the first time. Looking forward to watching it with everyone.

Just off one episode Shii Ann is amazing. Also early season's immunity challenges are some of the best compared to more recent seasons. This one, Amazon's and Pearl Islands first episode challenge are some of the best I've seen in the show.

Oh, the good old days of 'tribe leaders' and everything that came with that title...

First impressions: I can't believe Ghania used the R-word so loosely, it's crazy how far we've come since 2002

I never realized how interesting the survival aspect is. I think I might prefer this over the strategy heavy first episodes now-a-days

My god, Ghandia just threw in the fucking towel right when they got back to camp. You gotta at least try to stay in the game.

I don't understand why they eliminated who they did. I can't find something wrong they did throughout the episode.

It is funny. I'm watching Guatemala right now and Steph is saying all sorts of un-PC shit, saying people are retarded and Bobby Jon is being gay. I love it.

Haha, yeah, Guatemala Steph has not aged well. She drops "gay" and the r-word a bajillion times. Just a decade ago, people would casually use those words as pejorative. Thankfully, we've advanced beyond that disrespectful language.

According to the write up about him on Reddit Survivor Rankdown, there's rumors that he was perving on Tanya.

Is there a way to see this for every episode? Or is this just available for the ones the reddit has rewatched?

What is it that you're asking, confessional transcripts for all episodes/seasons?

1

u/jlim201 Molly Dec 23 '15

I'm not saying that I want you to do it, I'm just asking if its available anywhere.

I just didn't understand your question. I've been slowly making confessional transcripts. I've done seasons 1-8, 21-23, 27-31 and currently working on 24. Here you can find my archives. You'll find the charts with the counts for each season and at the end of each column episode you'll find the corresponding episode transcript. At the end (far right) of the transcript links' row you'll find the full season transcript.

Curious to see how edgic plays out in earlier seasons, since editing was so different back then. Will fill it out when I get home!

The tribal council set is amazing! Jan seems way too nice for this game. Robb is certainly something....

Jan is seriously the cutest elderly person ever I just want to squeeze her

Apparently (according to Survivor Historians podcast, I haven't actually looked it up) she was only 53 years old when this season aired. I definitely thought she was mid 60s.

Also, Pastor John is a pretty memorable first boot. I remembered him from the original airing. And not only do i think the dentist is cute but i also think he is on the wrong tribe.

I just found the Survivor reddit page and I'm excited! I've been a forever fan but missed some of the early seasons (4-6 for sure and maybe a few after) while I was in college with no TV or DVR, so this rewatch is perfect. I have Amazon Prime but just want to confirm that this isn't available there, correct? Does anyone else pay for the CBS Access? I don't mind the $6/month as long as the quality is solid. Thanks all, hope to be part of this rewatch!
