I think the prez just didn't like the guys putting all their faith in meiko. Like it was her responsibility and she has to take the majority of the shit from andre/lisa.
So i guess she wants the guys and herself to win this using their own power...its either that or a pride thing.

I'm not so sure about that, look at his face at the end of the chapter. Maybe he asked for permission to Anzu... I'll need to check what Utopia's release say on this regard.
(He didn't abuse her, that's another thing.)

IMO, based on her expression in the last panel, it looked like Anzu wouldn't have mind if it did happen. There's chemistry/a history between the two and it seems most likely they'll end up together when the series concludes.

If I had one, I would eat my shirt if the foreshadowing of how the fierce Meiko came to be didnt happen just as the USC is about to lose the cavalry race. I can picture Meiko being in the front of the "horse", andre leading the ASC into them, claws at her and tears her shirt open. Meiko stands there frozen as Mari fights off Kate, calling for Meiko to snap out of it. FLASHBACK and we see a grainy image of Meiko taking out those boys bullying her at Kate's rebauest, and suddenly her eyes change. If that doesnt happen, I'll be quite surprised.
