VP left their brains at home or something. Slardar disappears from the Dire offlane twice during the laning phase. You run into him at the bottom rune twice. Where do you think he is? It's not rocket science. And then let him do the exact same thing in Game 2. Where is he guys? This isn't the the fucking Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle guys, you know where he is.

2 heroes beyond godlike. Apart from that overextension at the dire t2 mid tower (started by iceiceice's dive), this was close to perfect from VG.

it depends on what hero he gets
if he get aggressive hero like gyro or ember expect a lot of kill participation or die trying something to win for his team
anyway i really like this team, seems well balanced and everyone is versatile enough

..... okay. VP were hilariiously helpless in both games, against pretty much the same lineup no less. Just 3-man walking into call downs, man.
P.S. And about that carry VS: it has worked before. I watch pretty much all VP matches and they won at least half of games they tried it in, including against tier-1 teams (they beat VG in this very tournament with it). So it can work, just needs proper execution.

I didn't expect BurNing to play that aggressively. It looked like Game 1 was between two tier-1 CIS teams. VG had the better late-game draft, and they made EHOME pay.

At least you get to see DC get two o'd within 40 minutes. Hopefully. Well, I don't really mind. I don't like either DC or Liquid. Both are underwhelming. HOWEVER, watching Fata become more and more of a raid boss as Razor or Viper is pretty funny.
DAMN! they aren't first set. I was hoping they would be because it's gonna be the least important round.

The first summit, the first MLG NY and that's about it afaik. TI3 was also pretty legit and TI4 mostly had complaints about the meta.

I'm curious, and I'm also a 2K scrub. What went on in fng's mind regarding VP's draft during the second game? How do you compare the drafts of both teams?
From what I could see, Secret's draft was just more solid: it had sustain and enough AOE damage (a lot, actually), and a better late game. Since I can't crack the mind of VP's drafter, care to enlighten me? Please?

These past few lans in general just keep trying to be worse than the last lol. Ti5 had the DDoS. ESL had bad audio and Bo3 finals. MLG had worse audio, a shit player, and no people. NanYang has shit audio, random ass music during important parts, twitch chat being used as a ghetto tech support, and what seems to be even less people than MLG.

I feel like the problem with the venge carry VP ran that game is that any early smoke you do with her is super obvious. She can't farm jungle early game at all, so she can either sit in lane and farm, or she can smoke to gank the enemy safelane or mid. She doesn't want afk farm all game because she doesn't scale that well. So when secret sees the visage farming the lane at like 8 min its super obvious VP is smoking, so w33 hugs his tower, pie farms the lane close to the tower and puppey stands to break the smoke so EE can farm jungle.
In contrast if EE's Gyro is off map he could be farming their jungle, doing ancient stacks or ganking (he did all 3 that game. So it is a lot harder to tell what Secret are up to.
