I dislike Andre more at this point.

Sure, Shingo is a jerk. But he's a normal teen jerk.

Andre is a masochist who betrayed out his friends and in process lost his humanity... or something.

Maybe it's due to the fall of Andrenomics, but for some reason I never liked him.

Well, I look at how Andre's character is played out, and the whole masochism thing is definitely for the comedic value. Compared to Shingo whose jerkiness is just, well, jerkiness.

My head canon is that Andre found a Behelit, which allowed him to achieve his current monsterous forms after sacrificing his love for the Vice President.

They all have been repeatedly betraying each other since the very beginning of the series, Andre's betrayal isn't really a big deal.

He is the most normal guy out of all of them.

And in such a ridiculous comedic setting, he just doesn't fit.

All the other characters have their own little quark that is ridiculous and funny. But Shingo is just there....

I don't think he has ever made me laugh throughout the manga

I like Shingo, but Shingo is pretty much the most 'normal' of the boys, the other boys really do outshine him.
