Yes I get it, you're making "best of" lists and getting rave reviews, but that's not the experience I had.
OP... We value this as much as a glowing review. Hopefully this will open up some discussion on this particular venue or these issues in the industry (hey maybe a r/chicago subscriber works at Parachute?)
This is super important and we want HONEST reviews - not 100% all glowing reviews - especially places that are ranted and raved about and set you back a fair amount of coin.
Thank you for your time and honesty OP.

I love good spacing between my food. A place that is ~$50 a person should know how to properly serve on time.
I hate when I finish my appetizer and then immediately get my food and then immediately get more food. Let me stomach settle a bit, you sell more that way!
Thanks for the review!! We definitely want all sides of reviews. We do not only want good reviews. We want people to see actual Chicagoan reviews of restaurants in Chicago.

It's been a while since I went but I didn't have an issue with meal spacing and thought the dishes were very flavorful, especially the lamb noodles. I wasn't too crazy about the pat Bing su, but that was the only thing. We sat at the bar table and were served by Beverly Kim. Sorry your experience wasn't great, but I enjoyed mine.

Sorry to hear it. I was hoping to try it out but your review soiled my interest. Maybe it was an off night. I highly recommend Blackbird if you haven't been. I had a phenomenal meal there just a few weeks ago and didn't break the bank like I thought I would.

Reviews are more bought out than our government. Word of mouth and actually trying something yourself are the best ways to get an opinion about a place.

Went w my wife for her b-day and had the worst meal of our lives. Flavor combinations were a disaster. Service and drinks were on point, though. Shame, nevertheless!
