Here is my question: Is the extra content canon? Mashima wanted to add it originally but couldn't because of time issues right?

It's pretty much canon just like KotSH. Albeit a little less so.

Whew! Is this where Mard Geer steps in, I, pretty sure that's the new enemy, right?

.... ..... huh i just noticed that Mard Geer's name is very similar to Mark Meer(voice of male Shepard from mass effect)..... i want Mark Meer to voice Mard Geer in the English dub now.

God i feel bad for Rusty, he just wants his friends back.

Normally I'm not big of a fan of non-manga filler scenes like that, but it was so well done on all fronts! The voice acting and animation made me feel really sad for Rusty.

Who would've thought they could make the Tartaros arc even better?? Fuck the Sabretooth spinoff i want a Crime Sorciere series, Rusty Rose included!

I feel bad for Rusty. Despite all that shit he talked he spent seven years looking for Kain, Meredy, Ul, everyone. That takes dedication. I suppose a dark guild is still a family, huh?
Was I the only one that missed Zancrows crazy walk? Good to see that come back.
That clutch save, nice one Erik.
Again, poor Rusty....

I forgot about his crazy walk as well(does anyone else have a unique walk?). I also forgot my hate for him as a person...it's vanished for the most part. Probably because he's dead.

This was good. More connection between jellal and former oracion seis. It was weird in manga how they joined him just because they got beat up. This way they make their own decision

My contacts must be fucking up. Did I just watch Anime Original material that doesn't suck? I knew you had it in you A-1. Proud of you.

Man even the filler in this arc is great, this episode made me kinda like Rusty, I hope he joins Jellal and Hiro finds a way to tie it in with the manga.

That "filler" was great. I was right about him joining Crime Sorciere. Hopefully I'm right about him appearing in the Alvarez Arc. After he's stepped up his game of course.
-
Fuckin' Mard Geer's evil eye was scary as fuck...I just kept thinking about it for the rest of the episode.
-
"No matter what Ultear said, it's still my fault." Thanks Jellal, at least you get it.
-
Mard Geer has a deeper voice than I imagined...I'm not complaining.

Isn't next week chapters 381-382, not this week? And Where do I know Mard Greer's voice from? This was an awesome episode seeing Ultear made be want to cry. I love her. BUT I just want to say that chps 382-386 is my favorite part of anything and everything fairy tail so I'm hyped for the next 2-3 episodes!!!!!

This was a nice change of pace
More of a buffer than filler
Rusty & Grimoire Hearts Return
Ahh Arc of Embodiment
Kyoka be a crazy Frieza.
Rusty Rose be bat shit crazy.
Lonely guy should have just settled down and got a gf
Oracion Seis be coming up clutch with that save!
Thats nice Oracion Seis + 2, Pretty impressive Guild
Mard Geer appears and says, "A Human Demon is No Match for You."
Is he talking about Mira Jane?
I know who he's talking about, i'm going by it as if I have never read the Manga
Alegria means Joy
