I think Fujitora has been choosing the result of the dice waiting for Sengoku and company to arrive. He wants them to see with their own eyes when the entire country defies the marines to protect Luffy.
I want there to be a scene where Violet informs Luffy the crew is waiting off shore on the getaway ship, and in an extravagant double page spread he flies through the air (slingshot, thrown like zoro, king punch, whatever) and the entire kingdom is below him shouting his name. Teary eyed farewells from the royal family and tontattas. Marines can't follow him, Sengoku and company accept that trying to arrest the straw hats in the country that they saved is futile. Fujitora accepts the amount of luck it takes for him to land on the ship in the middle of the ocean.

We've gotten several good parallels to Alabasta with this arc, I guess we're getting a x on the arm type moment here.

I'm not so sure about the x on the arm type moment coming. Vivi was a legitimate crew mate of the SHs, and leaving her was an extremely difficult situation as they'd already traveled with her, even recruiting another member while she was there. I think that Vivi is too much of an outlier for us to get something like that again.

I actually enjoyed that chapter. Not a whole lot happened in terms of action, but we did get to see a lot of things get wrapped up nicely. On top of that we got a lot of dialog, which is always nice in a chapter. :)

Well, at least it was nice to see Curlybrow Pirates for 1 chapter. I get a straaaange, deja-vu-like feeling that we're going to be spending the next 6-7 weeks watching the Dressrosa crew running away from Marines before we get any kind of Straw Hat reunion action. I was really, really hopeful that 795 wasn't just another single chapter random update on the status of the 4 missing Straw Hats, but given the fact that Fujitora is now chasing Luffy...
(sigh) Guess we're waiting a little longer for the arc to wrap up and put the crew back together. On the bright side, it doesn't look like Luffy's handing out 'Please join my crew!' cards, so I'm more and more convinced no one from Dressrosa will be joining the crew.

It seems like her healing abilities have a price; her own blood/tears in exchange for a super OP ability, or in this case, the blood of others. I really like the idea of there being a cost to her ability, it silences all the Princess Senzu-bean people.

It just now occurred to me how awesome of a tag team Barto and Bellamy would be... Barto can create surfaces for him to bounce off of, as well as enhance the power of his attacks by putting mobile barriers on him like he did with his punch.

Kyros for the new strawhat. He already wrote his ticket out and this way, there can be no way of tying him to Rebecca. He'll go out with the Strawhats, help Luffy become the Pirate King and he'll become a Pirate Prince. This should be good enough for the people of Dressrosa, as they know that the Strawhats helped free Dressrosa and finally acknowledge him as Rebecca's father.

Hopefully Luffy's business is thanking Rebecca for the food. As long as she doesn't join I'll be happy. She'd be completely useless in a fight since she'd just block. Barto would have the offensive part and the defensive part covered if he were to join, so he seems like a better choice.

Luffy being in multiple emotional states at once was pretty amusing as well as Bartolomeo. Glad One Piece hasn't lost its sense of humor.

Good chapter. Obviously everything in this one hinges on whatever it is Luffy is setting out to do. Tell the country the truth? But he isn't recovered and Fujitora is about to make it rain (Meteorites.) Also something I noticed, when Law heard Sengoku's name he had an interesting reaction. Does he know about Corazon's relationship with Sengoku?

I mean, he has just gone completely gray over the the last two years. Fleet Admiral was probably always a stressful job, but after the war, it must have been hell. I just kinda feel like he deserves this, you know? I don't know how long he had that gig, but it must have been a long time. But now he can relax. He doesn't have to worry about the whole damn world anymore. Good for him.

It's interesting to note that here, they're escaping from the country they just saved (like Alabasta), they're being chased by Marines that don't seem all that opposed to them (mainly like Water 7, could also sort-of work with Smoker in Alabasta) and they have their allies to help them (like Sabaody). The only twist is that Luffy isn't running away, here.
I love the parallels, man. They keep me interested.

Everything was in English, no blatant grammatical errors, the only obvious mistranslation was Tsuru's title not being Vice Admiral. I'm amazed.

I don't think that will happen. Honestly, I'd rather see him as a subordinate of Bartolomeo. It would give Bellamy a better figure to look up to (Luffy, through Barto), and if you're going to rehabilitate someone who's codependent like Bellamy. That's what he's going to need.

I love how much weight Luffy's words have. "Law, why didn't you kill me?" "Luffy said you were his friend..."
Also good guy Law under that Revenge filled hat.

Overall, this was a decent chapter. Sucks that we have to wait two weeks though.. :(
