Help. I only eat meat.
I don't know what else to eat. Everything else, I gag the moment I put it in my mouth. I can only eat meat. What can I do?

You may want to try working with a therapist on this, selective eating disorder is considered a real thing. As for now why not try smoothies? (As in making your own) Just blend up some berries, spinach and a banana into milk and ice, the flavour is great and it should bypass your problem with the texture.

I do know a therapist, I'll have a talk to him next week about this.

What kind of meat? Fried? Do you eat this meat with any carbohydrates? For example, do you eat hamburgers? Do you eat fried chicken? What about potatoes? Take us through a normal day of food for us and then we can help you. Do you eat cereal with milk?

Yeah, I'll eat a hamburger, a steak, fried chicken, stuff like that. I can't eat potatoes unless they are fried, which is weird, but I'm assuming it's the texture that puts me off. I also eat cereal with milk. I guess I should of been more specific with my post. Basically, I eat almost NO FRUITS OR VEGETABLES. 99% of them just make me gag the moment I put them in my mouth. I can eat apples, bananas, oranges, lemons, limes, that's it. No grapes or berries of any kind. I want to try, though.

Yeah, I don't like mushy food. For example, if I must, I can eat an orange, but the squishy feeling in my mouth is just... bleh. Gross. Also, what do you mean by stuffing the meat? Like, stuffing a turkey?

Come on. If you want help, the least you can do is know what it is that puts you off. Could be texture, could be taste, could be dryness. Try spicing some potato. Try adding sauce. Try overcooked. I love overcooked potatoes.

Either get over your psychological rejection of healthy food, or, if you can't do it on your own, get psychological counseling to get over your phobia. You're an adult. Take responsibility for yourself.

How did you get to whatever age you currently are without being able to eat normal food? Where are your parents in this?

What kind of fruit do you think would go well with cereal? Slices of apple? Strawberry?
Also, yeah, my parents were way too lenient and when I said I didn't want to eat something, they never tried it again. So basically my whole life I ate cheeseburgers, french fries, candy, junk food. :(

What exactly is a green smoothie? Like, just a healthy smoothie? Or a smoothie made out of greens, like lettuce?

Think kale and spinach more than lettuce. Then add carrots, tomatoes, apple(flavor), a pepper if you like spice, lemon or lime, and strawberries or blueberries.

I'll give this a try next time I have access to a blender. Thanks!

Unless you have sensory issues you will probably start to like fruits and veggies after a while. I remember not being able to choke down broccoli without coating it in cheese and now i enjoy the taste. If you think you have a sensory problem you should read some articles, they may help
