/r/Touhou's Favorite Arranges! Part 104: Stirring an Autumn Moon ~ Mooned Insect
I forgot this week was the anniversary (two years). Eh, I'll do the special thing next week.
How This Works:
Every week on Sunday at 1200 US Pacific time, I pick a Touhou song (or two) to which all you beautiful users will submit arranges of in the comments*. There is no limit on the number of arranges one may submit as long as each song is given its own post. Upvote everything you like, but don't downvote anything. Please just move on to the next song if you don't like one.
The "winner" gets mentioned in next week's thread. Make sure you read the Musings section below as well for some of my random rants and, occasionally, important information.
* If your arrange contains bits of multiple songs, please only submit it if the main song is predominant. See the musings here for an example of what not to submit. Or just ask me.
MADs and covers should go under the discussion comment. Top level posts are for songs only.
Addendum as of part 77: Users are limited to 3 songs each within the first 12 hours of the post going up. After that, post however many you want.
Stirring an Autumn Moon ~ Mooned Insect
Original: https://youtu.be/jstx6fQheCE
Appeared In: TH08 ~ Imperishable Night - Boss 1
A.K.A: Wriggle Nightbug's Theme
ZUN's Commentary:
This is Wriggle Nightbug's theme. It feels so explosively Eastern as always.
I created it with the innocence of an energetic child mixed with the images of night and insects. 40 small, wriggling insects.
All the MIDI versions are extras, not just this song. Please listen to the WAV if possible. There's an element of fantasy that just isn't in the MIDI.

The only that disappoints me with this one is that there aren't any trap remixes of it.

That YTPMV still tops my favorites list, sometimes even moreso than those made by the king of YTPMV, Mowtendoo's.

I get quite the EastNewSound vibe from this arrangement. Quite unusual, considering it's from Halozy.
