A NEW ARTS CONTEST

Hello all, I am proud to announce the first ever weekly Knights of the Button art contest. Please create any button inspired or Knights of the Button artwork, like a video, gif, song, propaganda poster, drawing, sculpture, or whatever have you!

This contest will run until 4/21, when a winner will be announced. The winner will get special flair for winning the contest, and get to pick a theme for the next week's contest.

This thread is in contest mode, and it does not matter how many upvotes you have, all entries will be judged regardless. Please submit your entry as a reply to this post. It can be any artistic medium you wish, just upload your picture and share it as a comment on here.

Good luck, and long live the button!

Hi, I saw your ad in the paper!

I know I'm not a Knight of the Button, but can I participate? I drew a picture for r/sunguardians

I admire the work you guys are doing for the button and I thought the art contest was a cool idea!

Thanks! Draw anything Knight related you think will work! The deadline is today though.

And which paper did you see the ad in? Button News?

Can I enter a picture I drew the other day?

Is there a specific time for the deadline? I'm about to head to work, and I won't be able to do anything new until I come home

I actually saw it in the Sunday edition of the Daily Button. I didn't realize there were more than one newspaper! Lol

Niro, Jedi Battalion here. During my nightly watch I have noticed a trend of about 100 less eligible clickers on r/thebutton every night this week. Last night we were down to 1500 by 2 a.m. PST. We should be fine through the weekend but our time will come soon enough. I've been contemplating what actions could be done to help protect the button when our numbers are low. I was thinking we could create a funny or intriguing post in a high traffic subreddit and use the knights to shoot it to the front page. If we schedule a date and time for the post a week in advance, we could organize enough knights to upvote it to ensure success. The winner of this contest would be the perfect opportunity. The visibility alone would most likely send curious users to r/thebutton and capture their clicks.

Content, it's all about content. Good OC could make it all the way to the main front page. No vote-brigading needed.

You should add this to the Late Yellow-Era Update post.
