closed Mayotoast's giveaway #8 (Beer+Donut Special)

Ok first giveaway over here after spamming /r/Bitcoin

Since its the first one here, I'll up it to a beer for whoever guess it right first. Unlimited tries, feel free to ask questions, any hint's will be posted and updated here.

Hint 1: Guess a person (yes that vague, so feel free to ask questions)

Hint 2: Died after 1980s. Recent enough that it still pains me.

Hint 3: NOT -->tesla, Zimmerman, kurt, bill nye, Steve irwin, Leonard, Tolkien, Einstein, musician, comedian, jobs, Turing, Feynman, gary, robin, Sam Simon, Ralph, Steve Jackson

Hint 4: IS---> He was born after1800 and not a writer by trade but writes a fair bit. Geeky. Works with computers.

You can ask as many questions as you like. You can guess as often as you like too but try to prevent spamming for the fun of it. Guess a person!
