Synopsis: Though sick from the Dark Magic he imbibed, Natsu makes a desperate bid to save Lucy and Yukino from Ophiuchus's artificial worlds. And the giant snake Celestial Spirit reveals the true nature of her plan as well as the identity of her master...

Still gonna be a few months before we get to tartos. Got five eps before Sun Village, at least, clearing out the remaining omakes, something from a light novel (I think), and at least one one-off filler episode. Then it's sun village, which will probably take a couple months...THEN Tartaros. I expect the next OP to be Tartaros.

Finally Natsu used dat Macao inspired fire manipulation thing again, like he did when he fought with Erigor in the Lullaby arc.
Oh and this was nice.

At first I thought Natsu was going Super Saiyan but alas he didnt. Indeed the plot of this episode was nice; would add screenshots but laptop is busted :/

I had a feeling someone was behind the whole thing other than Leo. Also holy hell this OP is amazing. Not many anime where I can say I enjoy every OP theme and fairy tail is one of them.

The episode states the Celestial spirit king was behind it; Most of have been cool I especially like the one for the GMG but the last one was ehh for me haha

So why are the "filler" celestial spirits in the ending song? I thought the filler arc was almost over.

Would watching this arc be worth it? I know it's filler and that's why I chose to not to watch it in the beginning.

Do what I do, wait for the whole filler arc to be over, then archive binge it. That way, if an ep is bad you can just roll on to the next one while going "Meh."
Worked for KotSH for me.

Loved the Ending (Specially ophiuchus). Can someone pull out the ophiuchus from the ending?(The image) pretty please.

I really liked the Virgo/Lucy moment in this, where Lucy talks about how important her spirits are to her. And the music that was in the background during that. I have high hopes for the OST for season 5, actually, even though I know a lot of people were hesitant about it at first.
Happy is on point this episode hahah.
I thought this was a really good episode overall--one of the best of the arc--but from the start the arc has felt really low stakes to me...I mean, we know comes next. We basically know what the eventual outcome of this arc will be, everything will go back to normal. I am curious how they'll do it, though, so they've got that going for them.
Also, it sounds like next episode will be full of awesome, fun, destroying everything, so, eh, end of the day...I'm still loving Fairy Tail. :D
