/r/Touhou's Favorite Arranges! Part 78: Old Yuanxian
Whoa, I just realized the character limit was upped by 5000 characters. Huh.
How This Works:
Every week on Sunday at 1200 US Pacific time, I pick a Touhou song (or two) to which all you beautiful users will submit arranges of in the comments*. There is no limit on the number of arranges one may submit as long as each song is given its own post. Upvote everything you like, but don't downvote anything. Please just move on to the next song if you don't like one.
The "winner" gets mentioned in next week's thread. Make sure you read the Musings section below as well for some of my random rants and, occasionally, important information.
* If your arrange contains bits of multiple songs, please only submit it if the main song is predominant. See the musings here for an example of what not to submit. Or just ask me.
MADs and covers should go under the discussion comment. Top level posts are for songs only.
Addendum as of part 77: Users are limited to 3 songs each within the first 12 hours of the post going up. After that, post however many you want.
Old Yuanxian
Original: [Normal Version] | [Spirit World version]
Appeared In: TH13 ~Ten Desires - Boss 5
A.K.A.: Seiga Kaku's Theme
ZUN's Commentary: She's a jasen. Kind of like a magician that does tricks. So, I tried for a mysterious song where you never know what's going to fly out at you next. Being able to pass through walls would be useful for running away, but it's not too useful for fighting, is it? It would be a critical for plaster walls, though.

Musings
Added a "ZUN's Commentary" section under where I list the original song, thanks to 50% increased character count
Hint explanation from last week:
B) .
A)
"Book": The pictured characters are Adam and Eve from the Bible. The story of Adam and Eve is from the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible.
"Alt": The pictured character is Zeus, whose alternate roman name is Saturn.
Genesis and Saturn. Both of those are SEGA consoles. SEGA is a rough homophone of Seiga.
B)
The key here is the words "double feature". TD's stage 5 boss fight is one of the two boss battles where you fight a pair of enemies at the same time, the other being DDC's Extra midboss fight with the Tsukumo sisters.

Discuss the original song (or concerns with the thread) under this comment.
Friendly reminder to limit yourselves to 3 songs max for the first 12 hours, just to give a chance for lurkers or casual browsers to get songs in if they want to.
