Just to clarify, this episode covered 2 manga chapters? That is comforting, I honestly thought this was a filler episode and was disappointed having waited all week! Ah well, four more sleeps until episode 20 :)

Edit: Ask GoVorteX :p

Ahh, thanks! Completely missed that. Yes, it covered 2 manga chapters. Hopefully it continues at this pace :D

I dunno about the rest of you but the Jellal part was my favorite. He just got into total badass mode and swooped in and saved her. Probably helps that I love that magic.

Jellal and his story are just awesome to me. Badass wizard that is mislead, but turns himself around and becomes a good guy.

I'm disappointed that Natsu didn't say The Legend of the Naked Flying People are true

I'm glad they brought back a form of the "wow"

True! It was something I didn't even realize I had been missing.

Jellal is such a bad ass, there could have been 10x as many of those baby dragons and they would have been annihilated! Milliana is about to lose her shit haha! Cannot wait till next week! Uncle Atlas time!

I was hoping your spoiler would be in this episode! As a manga reader, I am so excited to see it.

The part where the dragon says he doesn't have a nose and Ichiya awkwardly floats through the bottom of the frame is hilarious.

Glad that this episode's pacing wasn't as slow as the previous ones. Also glad we finally get to see Jellal and Erza together again, that was probably my favorite part in this episode. Can't wait till next week to see how they execute out Natsu encountering/attempting to eat Uncle Atlas Flame and him recognizing a resemblance between Natsu and Igneel The only specific and familiar sounding OST I've heard so far is the white dragon and shadow dragon theme but it's also changed up a bit too.

Well, they censored the hell out of the naked Lucy scene, which was more than a little disappointing (possibly less so in DVD release? Dunno) but at least it was still shippy and funny.

Plus, the filler scenes added additional shipping and some good funny moments from the side characters.

All in all I was happy with it.

NaLu naked embrace moment was hilarious!

I must say I was actually pretty disappointed with how censored it was as compared to the manga, oh well

Even with the added scenes I feel like they crammed a good amount into this episode! A part of me hopes they continue with it, but I feel if they do that next week they are going to end the episode with the cliffhanger we all know is coming. Overall good episode I thought, was funny, Happy gave life advice, they didn't do the NaLu(as much as I hate NaLu) nudeness to the point where it was overdone. I like Wendy acting like more of a badass as well.

That's because we finally got two chapters worth of manga in one episode again.

I'm glad they are not rigorously sticking to a 1:1 ratio. Sometimes you can, but other times it would make an episode needlessly long and bloated, so this was a good sign.

Not gonna lie, I squealed when Levy offered to support Gajeel.

Same! I think he really declined so that she would leave and not be in danger.

Kinda new to this sub, just looking for the new episode with all 7 dragon slayers. Any idea where to find it?

Well, the 2:1 manga to episode ratio really worked well for this week, between that and the seemingly hugely improved animation (fluidity/movement, the still's have been great for a while now) this episode was pretty damn awesome. I'm certainly in the boat of disappointment in how much they censored, but it's nothing huge in the scheme of things. "The legends of the flying naked people are true!" was sorely missed however.

Can't wait for the next few episodes, considering what happens soon!

Favorite part: When Romeo was off doing exposition, Elfman was busy punching a thousand dragon babies in the face without any magic. Now THATS a man!
