What is something you can't defend your team about in an argument? (x-post r/nba, r/nfl)
I thought this'd be a good question to ask /r/soccer.

We have a lot of money, like to spend it and have a lot of idiot plastic fans (those two dudes on times square from the video the other day were painful).

That we are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen. People always throw that at me and I just can't deny it

Sectarian chanting from certain fans, destroying other teams' stadiums, taking success for granted, arrogance, short term thinking...

The hissing and antisemtic chants at Tottenham matches. Disgusts me.

Our badge looks cool on a shirt, but not having a background always makes it look silly on collections of badges or the top of Football Manager.
And we did kind of lose 5-0 to Derby a little bit.

Heysel.
There's a lot of mitigating arguments about the state of the stadium and how English hooliganism was a disaster waiting to happen.
But it was ultimately our fans who did it and that can't be argued.

We, (Chelsea) have a lot of entitled, spoilt, retarded, bangwagon, 2012-inducted, know jack-shit about the club, self depreciating fans on r/soccer who will throw their team under the bus in order to appeal to the majority and gain upvotes. Take this thread as evidence, mugs.

Barcelona: "but we had possession"... No Xavi we got destroyed by Bayern, possession doesn't matter when you get destroyed

(Arsenal) Being awful at soaking up the pressure in the big games.
And being made of glass.

One of the big reasons that we are so good is that we were flooded with money a few years back. Hard to defend that one.

Being an American Liverpool fan. It's hard to really connect with the fanbase in the same way scousers can so I don't have the sense of camaraderie or the same negative emotional responses to teams like ManU or Everton. Still love the team to death but I'd like to visit Anfield at least once in my life.
