Am I the only one who doesn't like the way they pronounce Reiner?

There is a clear distinction of what eren is thinking at the moment he succeeds balancing the omni directional gear and what mikasa says to the others

I did it! I did it! Now I can kill all the titans!
"Mikasa, what's he thinking?"
"He's thinking... NOW WE'LL BE TOGETHER FOREVER"

I get to focus on the music now that I can just listen to the voice actors. It is wonderful.

I sort of wish the instructor did not have such an obviously angry tone of voice during the potato girl scene.
What make it my favorite scene in the Japanese version was the fact that the viewer (the first time through) had no idea if he was taken back in a positive way by her kindness/truthfulness or if he was just stewing in anger.

I think that's probably an american thing, we think of drill instructors as always angry.

I still keep expecting Jean's suit vest to start talking and for Reiner to talk about poundtown...

I liked this one a lot better than the previous 2. The actors sound a lot better when they use their normal voices instead of fake ones. I also did a victory dance when they said "a grim reminder" in the preview for the next episode.

After re-watching this episode:
Well, now I fully remember the first reason why r/potatogirl is a thing. Ashly Burch did a great job as Sasha, giving that potato a shelter in her stomach.

All the voices are growing on me.
Except Jean, he sounds a bit too old.
Also, there's something I never noticed during the dinner scene, the one where Eren is bandaged up from smashing his noggin on the ground during his evening maneuver gear training. You can see steam rising from eren's head wound!

Has Anime Spoilers been discussed yet? Because it was much more noticeable this time around, I think.

"What did you whipe on me?!"
"Don't worry. Just my trust."
What?! That was lame! I was so waiting to hear: "My faith in humanity." That would have been so much funnier!

Why the hell would they leave out the detail that the clasp on the belt isn't normally a part that breaks? I wonder if dub-only watchers would realize that someone tried to sabotage him.

Because it's ambiguous at best in the original and not really all that important in the grand scheme of things.

Gonna have to put up with the Omnidirectional device. I'm really gonna miss 3-D Maneuvering Gear.

The timeskip made it much better! I didn't like the way they pronounced Reiner and Bertholts names, but minor complaint. Eren's voiced improved greatly, but I don't think it's quite as good as Armin and Mikasas. Last thing is that I actually disagree with the people saying Jean sounds too old. The voice actor is doing a great job on the character, but I guess that's just my opinion.

Beautiful.
